What do u mean? That device can be unlocked using menu button?

Doesn't it have same behaviour in Samsung roms?

Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA App

Yes don't think thats a feature on samsung. must be a bugo

Is there a way to change the spacing of the icons on the dock?
they seem too close and not evenly spreed out to fit the hole length of the screen

Ok, some Bugs I realised:
- Menu button unlocks screen
- long press on menu button doesn't open search
- sd card is not shown in file manager and not even in CWM recovery. Simply can't access it. Don't know why.
- browser is not shown in task manager. Don' t know if it's really an issue.
- no lights and feedback on capacitive buttons
That's all for the moment. I like ya work!

Edit: one more: screen rotates 360 degrees. Normally the upside down view should not be possible.

What CWM Should we be using to flash this if we are already on another ICS Rom?

I tried to flash this from CWM V5.0.2.7 (On ROMOW) and it apparently didn't work right, wouldn't even boot. I did a backup from this same CWM before flashing and it wont restore the backup either. Just freezes when trying to restore instead of actually doing anything.

Have tried a couple times, tried wiping caches/factory reset etc it won't flash or restore anything.

Love it! Best ICS ROM so far, only thing I miss is Facebook Contact sync, but no big deal. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!

Great Rom. I came from other ICS roms (Midnight and Rocket), flashing over these roms did not give me full root. I have to reflash CF repack. Boot into recovery and flash vo2 without wiping. After it finish flashing then wipe data, cache and dalvic. Work great and got full root. In case of some still confuse.

Absolutely fan-f*****g-tastic! For the first time on ICS ever I can actually copy/paste stuff in system folder whenever I bloody like! Full root at last!

Everything works, no FCs, scrolling is fast and smooth, no lags (not even Contacts, imagine!), I'm thrilled.

The only small bug that I can see is that there's no status bar toggles? Or perhaps I'm doing something wrong here?

In any case, AOSP ICS passes with flying colours.

Thank you so much for this beauty, mate.:)

Thanks for the great Rom.

Little issues found:
- the menu and back buttons can't be set to always on
- the statusbar toggle data + 2g doesn't change in the settings. eg data toggle off, in settings is still hooked up
- and PLEASE i need my ext. sd card, all backups are there

Just gave it a quick run and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT.

Cannot wait until some of the other bugs are squashed out and this thing is possibly the best galaxy note rom available. My few main gripes are:

Proper External SD-card implementation
Proper support for S-Pen and S-Pen apps, but im unsure how likely that is possible
Still bluetooth issues, cant seem to send files to phone via BT
Minor - banding still present but im sure its not the devs fault, just the proper sources required.

Honestly, this thing really is a daily driver since practically all of the basic and complex functionality is there. Just needs to additional cleaning up and this thing rocks

One more bug: the loudness settings are much to high!! The lowest setting is still to loud if you want to hear some music in bed and the loudest setting makes your head and your heasphones explode:D

...so about the capacitative buttons lighting...I went into settings an turned the brightness up all the way and the lights lit up. They stay lit until the screen turns off. No haptic still but there it light coming from them! Wonder if that is of any help!

....just touching the brightness, makes the lights go!

to your point 1- ICS combines internal and external cards into one big bin instead of two separate files, Google does not see the point in continuing to separate the two, file space is file space, it is there but it is combined with your internal SD card

to your point 3- ICS uses MTP (media transfer protocol) which is an extension of PTP (photo transfer protocol), automatic with Windows XP and later, requires Android file transfer to work with a Mac and another software package to work with Linux (it's far easier to use and more efficient than USB connect)

    Hello :)

I really don't like TouchWiz at all, so, when the first ICS sources became available, I started porting AOSP to our device.

There are still some major and many minor bugs, but ROM seems to be stable and usable.
Please look for buglist below, so you can decide, do you need to flash it or not.
I'll try to fix those bugs as soon as possible, so please, don't ask when something will be fixed, I really don't know :)

Description: This is clean and clear ICS (4.0.3) without any modifications. This is not CM, just AOSP. It may be used with tablet or with phone UI.

msged imilka last night and worked out that i will make 1 post and put my mods there and he will link to that post in OP so here goes :p

as with everyone else on here, flash at your own risk!
yes these mods work with v01 v02 and v03 so have fun :p

    Instructions: flash via CWM, reboot.

    Battery Mod: DOWNLOAD
(battery mod v1) (battery mod v2) (battery mod v2.1) (battery mod v3a) (battery mod v3b) (v3b+rubik transitions) (v3b+chaos transitions) (back to stock)
    Screenshots:
    V1 - V2 - V3a - V3b - v3b+rubik - v3b+chaos
quick zip to give you a nicer battery in system bar+more.

    Capacitive Buttons: DOWNLOAD (disable) (enable)
disables the use of the MENU and BACK keys *use for tablet mode or softkeys enabled* stops from accidently pushing these buttons. *this does NOT deal with the button backlight.*

    @netchip

Sorry, but it's starting to annoy me a bit.

Please, if you have something to share with me - some bugfix or some thoughts - pm me.
But I don't care when you will release your build, when you will send it to your testers etc.
I don't want it to be posted here. If you want to discuss your own build - start your own thread. If you want to help me in development - pm me if you think you have something.

    Thank you.

    So, here's v07 - IMM76D 4.0.4 now.

    Changelog:

    1. Full rebuild based on 4.0.4 AOSP source code
    2. Fixed video recording up to 1080p.
    3. Changed to opensource OMX codecs by CM9 team, thanks a lot for your hard work guys.
    4. Fixed phone call screen bug
    5. Fixed settings FC in tablet mode (again yep)
    6. Added fonts for Phorostop touch, Kindle and other
    7. Removed NFC and apps depending on it such as Wallet.

Unfortunately, bug with stock mass storage mounting only internal partition remains.
I decided not to change it because I'm working on MTP and it's nearly fixed.

Please note - I've rebuilt nearly everything from stock, so there may be some hidden bugs I haven't noticed - report them please.

Ah, and the last thing - All additional archives such as tabletenable, and other AREN'T compatible with v07!
I'll make correct zips for tablet, capacitive buttons, etc soon.

    Full wipe recommended.

    Download:

    http://download.imilka.eu

I recommend you to download torrent version, but I also mirrored v07 to mediafire for those who can't or don't like to download via torrent.
