Buddy...bt this location is on sdcard????and also i hv flashd with cwm....but not able to go to recovery mode....want to flash with cyanogen7....despirately....can i use file manager too instead of root manager so help buddy

Flashing on S5578

I am wondering whether the ROM can be flashed on the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5578 that I bought in China. I can't seem to find the stock Vanilla Google ROM for this phone. As far as I know, there's no difference to the spec of the phone. The reason I want to flash it is because the one I have does NOT have Google option on the account! :mad:

Here's the information on my phone:
Model#: GT-S5578
Android Ver: 2.3.4
PDA: S5578ZNKH3
CSC: S5578CHNKH3
HSDPA 7.2 mbps (900/2100MHz)
EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900)

Should I try to flash it? Is there a possibility that the phone can be bricked? Is there a way to unbrick it if it does?
Any help would be appreciated!

Another bug after oc
I overclocked the 748 Mhz kernel...
Not much difference but recently.i noticed while using camera ..there is some kind of flickering in screen some bright white lines nd some dull white lines even after clicking the lines remain on screen...
Plz help!
Wat to do???

please enlighten me on these one, I'm just helping a friend installing a custom rom on her galaxy mini. I already flashed stock 2.3.4 xxkpi and follow the steps on installing cwm, but when I go to recovery mode it states "E: can't open / cache" and bunch of stuffs. how can i fix this. do i need to flash xxkpf first for the cwm to work properly and flash Andro-id 3.2??

parasmi said to lower the freq while using camera...this also happend in his emanoN ROM, try setting it to 604 and try.
if it bootloops then it's not stable at that freq..try setting it to 710 or something

    Flashing Instruction

    Flash Clockworkod Recovery :
    skip this step if you have clockworkmod installed on your phone

    • Download :tass-recovery-cwm.tar
    • Open S5570_Odin Multi Downloader v4.38.exe
    • Select TASS.Ops on OPS Section
    • Check One Package in Option
    • Select tass-recovery-cwm.tar on One Package Section
    • Press Start to start flashing

    Flash Andro-ID ROM :
    • Download and copy the latest Andro-ID ROM to SD Card
    • Reboot to Recovery Mode
    • Select install zip from sd card
    • Select choose zip from sd card
    • Select the new Andro-ID ROM
    • Select Yes - Install update
    • Wait till the Installation is finish
    • Select reboot system now

    IT'S VERY RECOMMENDED TO WIPE YOUR DATA AFTER INSTALLATION

    ok, update info about cm7 progress.

    fix layout problem. now is using ldpi asset with depend on mdpi.
    fix wifi tether, it should be work without problem.
    camera partially fixed, i'm trying to fixing the orientation issue.
    all partition will using ext4, so no more rfs..
    i will make new thread soon..

    for andro-id maybe i will not releasing the v3.1, but will releasing the v3.2. that using ext4 partition.

    cm7 and andro-id will using clockworkmod for flashing.
