I got a stainless steel strap as well. I fooled so many on facebook that this was a real Rolex.

That looks awesome! How much attention does that bring? Can people tell its a smartwatch. The one thing I never liked about samsung gears was they were always too noticeable as smart watches, but this looks like just a really nice watch.

Wife brought me the strap to go with my bracelet. To large so going to have it relinked but turned out great imo.

Thanks for the reply. I'm running hyperdrive rls 17.1 on mdk bootloader gs4. I loaded up watch styler but I do not see it in the clock menu on gear Manager. Actually I don't see any of gear apps I had on gear 1 in the gear Manager. Any suggestions would be great

I went the cheapo route. Got it at Wal-Mart. It's a Timex replacement strap. I was considering 3 of them and I went for the bottom one. It's just $15 CDN.

The finish on the strap, which is brushed stainless steel, fits in perfectly with the Gear 2. It's a bit cheap feeling and a bit too narrow for my tastes. I like the clasp as it reminds me of the one on my Rolex. Because the Gear 2 is so big, vertically, I had to remove a few links on the strap. It's a bit of a pain on this Timex strap. Especially compare to my Rolex which uses screws.

It doesn't feel very solid at all. But compare to the original strap this things is just so much more comfortable. Especially around "boney" wrists like mine. It doesn't move around either, it's well planted. It's also very light which is a good thing. This thing is much lighter than my Rolex submariner.

So there you have it; a $15 metal strap. Looks better than the plastic one, feels better, a bit of pain to size it up properly.

PS: Thank you to Samsung for making the strap so easy to remove! I can swap straps in less than 5 minutes!

Got this one off ebay for about $19 bucks. After about 30mins and a puncture wound in my left thumb not taking my time (ouch), I took some links out and installed myself!

Went with the black stainless steel, I like it.
