Now thats real quick, from preview to beta in a week

Especially love reading this "Enabled low RAM optimizations introduced in 4.4"

P.S.-Can someone please upload a non-oc s2w kernel for this as I don't have my laptop currently

Read more here: http://source.android.com/devices/low-ram.html

Also S2W (and its toggle) is going to be re-added in some of next builds.
To clarify, I will NOT add HALO or any other stuff in it.

Good to know that s2w will be re-added in some of the future builds(thanks to the f'ed up power button). As for HALO, I don't use it anyway, it's more eye candy than functionality on a 3.2" screen but thats my opinion.

And I just wanted to know if you'd be adding the 'long press back key to kill app' option in the developer options

Both Alpha 1 and Beta 1 I'm having problems logging in google account.
I get "Couldn't sign in" Error.

Any ideas what could cause the problem? I'm using a Wi-Fi connection.

Other than that keep up the good work @galaxyfreak already seeing it getting smoother.

Review time ....!

Pros:
1. Insanely smooth....!
2. What so ever no lag at all not even while listening to music and doing some other task like reading books on G play books etc..
3. The UI feels refined with no resizing needed anywhere.
4. I'm using the dolphin browser with jetpack and it works great...
5. The camera has no green screen after taking photos
6. Video recording and decoding works great.

Cons:
Since it is a beta build it surely will have some drawbacks (most of them are minor)
1. The browser thing is killing me .. :( apps like G newsstand, instagram (small section), bbm login section, all the things go derps ..
2. I don't know is this personal or what but I installed chrome and it works with no issues but while i was surfing on fb the phone rebooted and when it restarted the chrome was uninstalled. Now I try to install it again then it stops at around 74% ..!(every time )
3. While listening to music on the lock screen when we long press on the pause button for music seeker the page automatically goes to add widget on lockscreen page ...
We again have to swipe to the music widget then seek music.( i hope you understand the prob.)
4. The Google voice search doesn't work.
5. 0.00mb ram in the apps section bug.
6. The luck screen glitches sometimes means when we press the power button it shows black screen and then turns off after a few attempts it unlocks.
7. The camera is still scared of faces ....!
8. The missing cm11 features.. :(

I thinks other than this the rom is awesome ....! :D :sly::beer::cool:;)

For other users who b ate struggling to flash the rom properly with proper gapps and all
Here are the steps to flash Cm11 beta 1

1. Download the rom and check there is no bad download issues
2. I removed these apps first reason I don't need them second to make some space for gapps
DSP manager, cm search, apollo , calendar , email, and MMS (use G hangouts instead gives the feel of 4.4 )
3. For memory script I added int2extv2+ in system/ext/int.d
4. Do a clean wipe and flash the modified ROM and gapps from the pico themes n apps section.

And then you get the insanely amazingly Cm11 on your little Pico

What is the size of cm-11-20131128-UNOFFICIAL-pico.zip after removing apps and adding "int2extv2+ in system/ext/int.d"?

I have 119MB (122,706 KB), is it okay?

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KITKAT), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    • Significantly smoother/faster graphics as a result of the new graphics libraries
    • Removed many hacks designed for old graphics
    • CAF KitKat 2.7 branch Adreno blobs

    What's working:

    • GSM

    Not working:

    • You tell...

It's entirely possible that features not used by me are broken, but overall the device should be usable. You have been warned.
