I am from India and i cant update my phone to JB , so i am runing on the Stock ICS rom on my At&T LG Optimus G , i cant find the stock systemui.apk and systemui.odex in System>Apps

when i try installing the SystemUi.apk that is given on this page , I get a errror message " Parse Error , There is a problem parsing the package"

Could someone help me out with this.

off the top of my head i *think* this is because you have 4.0 android, and the api level is 4.1 so your system has no idea what to do with the contents of that apk.

you CAN get jb with lgnpst and the "this is jellybean!" post in our forum, i think its in general or Q&A.

I'm on jelly bean stock rooted and bootloader unlocked and I try to install the qslide and I did everything you said but I doesn't work.

Delete The SystemUI.odex file first.
Everything Should Work Fine

can you rename the systemUI.odex file instead, in case you have to revert?

also, the camera still force closes for me (AT&T OPtimus G e970, running JB stock and rooted)

and it doesnt let me rename, to access explorer I'm using Astro file manager.

first you need a stock rom as it only works on a stock rom i would try this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2638987 as it also has some extra q-slide apps and check out http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2633721 for another extra q-slide app

im new here at the Forums, after intensive search i didn't find how/where to get the QSlides APK for LG Optimus G Pro E980, I have a root access on it and i deleted QSlides using Root Uninstaller.

i wanted to get rid of it from the Notifications drop-down window, so i deleted it thinking that would get rid of it, it didn't.

can someone please help me with this? im new in the Android World so I had to learn the hard way.

sorry for any inconvenience and the stupid question, thanks in advance for your help.

Hello everyone,

after further investigacion i found out that i deleted the Qslide Framework from the device, however there's a way to restore it but i need the backup APK that you can create with RootUninstaller, i tried with another QSlideFramework from another E980, but the FWversion was E98010k and it didn't work, it just doesn't install.

Can someone who has E980 with SWversion E98010p please create a backup of the QSlidesFramework using Root Uninstaller (available on PlayStore) and share the AOK with me?

I'll be forever in your debt since Videos, Calculator and NotePad doesn't work

It just shows "Unfortunately, Calculator has stopped", it just doesn't start, same message with the other apps,
