is this rom fine if i just wanna use whatsapp and wifi hotspot and for songs and movies
RIL and WiFi working fine in cm11. So whatsapp and WiFi should work fine. Haven't tested yet so can't say about videos.
I was able to restore a stock based backup made with 5.0.2.6 cwm. How I installed it was Odin flashed to stock restored a nandroid of cm7 then flashed the recovery. Works pretty good for me, so I don't know why so many are having problems.

This Recovery will only support Ext4, Ext3 or Ext2 formatted Custom ROMs.
No RFS support has been included here.
So dont come with the issues when having any stock ROM or stock based RFS custom ROM installed.
