Delete the init.d folder . flash the project xtreame G. And try using swap file of 50 -100 mb. Too much large swap also cause lag.
Or u can use the default scripts that come with rom , and forget PX.

@Dark4Droid Hi bro...! Somewhere the inbuilt xposed support is causing conflicts like while switching between gsm wcdma etc. Surprisingly now I have battery percentage option highlighted in main settings after disabling xposed which wasn't shown on fresh install. So xposed as an option at user level is better it seems
(No hurry..! Take ur time. Got 3 days holidays I ll try to figure out myself too )

Brother same thing happen to me. I installed dark nexus after formatting my phone , flashed project xtreame and after boot i was not able to connect to internet and the network mode option was not working.
Flashed again 3 times but same result.
Then i flashed only dark nexus . deleted all scripts in init.d exept zipallign script .
Now the phone boots faster . is much reponsive . no lag in multitasking, games, video etc.
I am using andiroxu kernel 3.4.5 , the kernel itself is taking care of every thing . no other scripts are required.
As per xposed module. I am using xposed as user app. I am using gravity box , boot manager , xtheames and having no problem with them.
The battery option you are talking about must be override by xposed module cause of system app.

Buddy but xtreme is obviously better in multitasking, gaming, battery backup etc brings a boost over capabilities of kernel 3.4.5
but these other conflicts I suppose is bcz of inbuilt xposed. I will try to rectify those conflicts when free and if solution found will share. Meanwhile u too try. Festive season slight busy

No buddy you can see its magic on mostly stock kernels.
Custom kernels have most features hence they conflicts with PE . but its few versions are working well with custom rom.
