friendstream not working.
camera crashed my phone (had to pull battery)
can you add german locale?
morelocale2 does not seem to do anything...

No problem with ADB here, I followed instructions provided.

So far after a day of usage, I am pretty damn surprised and really like it. Not a single FC and I love how I can use launcher2 without any probs yet! Now to test out the battery life

edit: although I do have one problem. Is it just me ? or does GPS work for everyone else, I haven't seen a complaint about that yet.

I have GPS issues also, had the same with Robociks too BUT NOT with Sanpeis latest.

I find that Copilot can not hold on to a gps fix, neither can navigon but it will ick it up again, and lose it again and so on... igo is usable but lags due to it losing the GPS fix.

This is the deal breaker for me as I use my phone for navigation everyday.

I also noticed that uptime = awake time but I didn't give it much of a chance after realising the GPS issues remained for me.

Great work none the less.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll move over the sanpei then, I also use GPS often. Great rom, only have two issues after using for a day. GPS and MMS app is so slow! Love launcher2 and the speed of sense though. Thanks

Battery is fixed and awake time < up time. You probably did something wrong. I flashed this ROM, and I'm really happy with it.

The battery fix is that what I wanted in robomix and nothing more. And it became real :)

It is fast, no FCs, no lags. I didn't test gps (I tested in robomix and there were no problems).

Yeah i guess the only thing missing in this rom is the LED working after a missed call and others...I got the trackball flashing but for unknown reason it always stop after a while.


If anyone discovers the fix, post-it here, :p

Well how much did you get? I know for sure that if you flash the version with dalvik cache on /cache, you'll get around 154MB with the apps provided in the rom.

Either you have some app that's keeping the phone awake and not letting it sleep, or you are using the phone too much(this fix is for sleep issue only), or maybe you should just recalibrate your battery.

For the camera problem, try disabling shutter sound in camera options. It worked for me.

Well I don't believe that I can, because that was already attempted by robocik, and he did make a lot of languages available through htc wizard, but, just as more locale, it doesn't translate that much(guess because HTC pulled down all languages except english for this one as this is based on Sprint 2.1 leak).
For the camera problem, try the same thing I said above...disable shutter sound in camera options.
Friendstream widget isn't working because there isn't friendstream app to support it, but as I recall, there was no friendstream app included in sprint leak(if I am mistaken, please correct me so I can add it). I will remove it in one of the next updates...that one and news widget > you've got news and weather app with widgets ;)

Whenever you plug in you phone to USB it will stay awake, so don't worry, that's normal. When you take it off USB, it will behave as it should ;)



For all >>> I have uploaded no wipe update with HeroLED app which will make LED notifications and keyboard backlight work again and also I have provided a new libgps.so which should, I hope, fix the issue that you have been having with gps. (it is a bit late here, so I couldn't have tested it if it really fixes gps)

    HOW TO INSTALL
    * If you had signal loss problems with previous builds, make sure you follow the steps from 1 to 9 , the rest of you can also do this as it will bring you to the latest radio, but you do not have to. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL THE NEW RADIO PROCEED TO READ FROM STEP 9(including this step)
    1)If upgrading from some other 6.35 radio, make sure you have 1.76.2007 engineering SPL installed
    2)Make sure you have fastboot working
    3)Download the radio.img file from HERE
    4)Place the radio.img file in the folder where your fastboot is located(usually tools folder)
    5)Connect your phone to pc using USB
    6)Reboot the phone to bootloader(fastboot)
    -You can do this by typing "adb reboot bootloader" in terminal
    -You can do this by shutting the phone down completely and then boot it up by holding the POWER button and BACK button at the same time
    7)Type in terminal console or command prompt console
    Code: 
    fastboot flash radio radio.img
    8)Now type
    Code: 
    fastboot reboot-bootloader
    and make sure you now have radio 6.35.16.19
    9)Extract the already downloaded EXTRACT ME FINAL SMOKI X zip and place both newly extracted files onto the root of your sdcard fat32 partition(files have names Smoki_X.zip and Partition_layout_fixed.zip)
    10)Reboot the phone to recovery.
    11)Wipe data
    12)Flash Partition_layout_Fixed.zip and wait for it to reboot back into recovery
    13)Flash Smoki_X.zip
    14)Flash Smoki_X.1.zip
    15)Reboot the phone and wait for the setupwizard to appear
    16)IF YOU GET FC ON FIRST BOOT BEFORE SETUPWIZARD(it's mostly FCing because of com.android.settings), REMOVE THE SIMCARD AND FINISH THE SETUPWIZARD LIKE YOU WOULD NORMALLY DO, LET THE SENSEUI LOAD AND PUT THE SIMCARD BACK
    17)After you've passed setup wizard and after senseui has loaded, install whatever the apps you want from the market and do a REBOOT or else there are BIG chances you'll have sense reloading by itself for no reason on returning to homescreen
    18)Double check to make sure you did a reboot like I told you in the step above
    19)Go get me some Heineken
    20)AAAAAAND yo're done :)


    HOW TO REVERT PARTITIONING BACK TO STOCK
    Partitioning reverts back in two occasions
    *First one being getting back on old radio and thus flashing different radio, spl, recovery and erasing system
    *Second being a manual one and includes staying with this radio and spl.
    TO REVERT BACK AND STAY WITH THE NEW RADIO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS
    1)Download AmonRA 1.6.2 recovery patched by cursordroid from > HERE
    2)Make sure you have fastboot working
    3)Place the recovery image downloaded from the above link into the folder with fastboot (usually the tools folder) and rename it(basically just shorten the name) to recovery.img
    4)Reboot the phone into the bootloader(fastboot)
    5)Type from terminal or command prompt
    Code: 
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase system -w
fastboot erase userdata -w
fastboot erase cache -w
    6)Reboot into recovery
    7)Flash whatever the rom you like(except smoki from 0.7.7 and up that needs partition layout)
    8)Get me a double cheeseburger from Mcdonalds

    -Because of the above, max freq is 528Mhz
    -No more compcache because no kernel source available
    -Tweaked settings, so we have multitasking available(it's not like on previous builds because compcache is lacking, but in comparison with rogers official rom, it's got more chances to allow more apps to run)
    -Changed bootanimation
    -All of you who met with already enabled data networks on first boot(3G, 2G, doesn't matter) will have enhanced GPS lock
    -I'm guessing there's more to it, but I'm going to sleep and I don't have the will to think anymore...when I try to think about it, I DO BELIEVE that there is more to it, but that's where my thinking stops
