It contains bug-fixes, but the nightlies are not tested, you are the tester.
It may be that a fix for something breaks something else, or the included fix is a bit worse than the problem it was supposed to fix, but most of the time, the nightlies run at least as well, if not better than the last stable version.

I doubt you'll notice much of the under-the-hood work that has gone into the nightlies, but I guess fixed code is usually better than the older code.

But, as always, use at your own risk, make a backup so you can go back if things don't work out for you.

But the latest one which nAa ha s uploaded i think is stable (minicm7 unofficial), or not?

Probably yes, but it only gets labeled 'Stable' if it is tested and working to a high standard. Since the nightlies are not tested, they don't get that label, although they may work better than the last 'Stable' version. You'll have to try for yourself.

It's not written nightly on the latest one. I think it's like a beta for a futur new stable version of mini CM7.

Oh ok, I got where we don't understand each other.
Nothing really is new in mini CM7 since latest stable build imo. I'm waiting for a new version of miniCM7 fully compatible with naa JB 05. Other changes brought by nightlies are minor. Using new kernel, this could be huge.

Hi guys, just managed to get this one working.

1 problem, when I connect internet via tethering to my PC, it drops out when the screen goes into timeout. I assume it's a power saving option but I can't find it anywhere, any ideas?

Thanks! Couldn't find it anywhere - "Wi-Fi sleep policy"

Another little thing I've noticed since installing, sometimes the 'Launcher Actions' icon disappears from the shortcuts at the bottom. It's usually 'Call', 'Launcher', 'Browser'. Sometimes the other 2 disappear when I add it back there. Odd.

Yep.

On newer versions you can pinch zoom to get flying beans/CM dudes everywhere depending on what you are hitting x). (Android version or CM version)

    Requirements:


    • Instructions:
      • Download the MiniCM7-xxx.zip from the release link that follows
      • Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
      • Move the MiniCM7-xxx.zip to the root folder of your sdcard. Download the suggested Google Apps for CM7 from here (check http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ if you want to experiment with other gapps versions)
      • Unlock your bootloader, if you haven't already. Check http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1254225 for a nice tutorial
      • Flash the nAa kernel using Flashtool. To to this:
        - Turn off your phone
        - Start the Flashtool\X10FlashTool.exe and select Flash. Then select the U20_nAaxxx kernel firmware (this flashes both the kernel.sin and the loader.sin)
        - Keep the back button pressed while connecting the usb cable. Flashtool should detect your phone and flash the kernel.
        - Once done, disconnect the usb cable and power on the phone.
      • Once the logo appears, press the back button repeatedly to enter CWM.
        - Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
        - Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (RECOMMENDED)
        - Flash the MiniCM7-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the MiniCM7-xxx.zip
        - Flash gapps
      • Reboot (first boot will take ~2 mins)
      • Once your device has booted, you can navigate to CM Settings -> System -> Update notifications and select 'Register'. This way you can get update notifications on new versions of MiniCM7!
      Please make sure you followed the above steps before reporting any issues, especially 'wipe data/factory reset'

    just put these 3 files in /system/lib and set the permission 644 (if you dont know what is 644 see any other .so file permission in the same folder and set the same)
