Have you already rooted and are trying to change to SuperSU? It appears there is only one root method for you phone with stock. Have you checked you device forums? I did a search and found this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmob...-d851-t3381926

Search this thread, there are plenty of people with issues rooting LG G6 TMO, maybe you can find a solution.

Super SU binaries not installing
Thanks for the suggestion, but that video shows a temporary root with Kingroot that has to be redone every time you reboot your phone. It works, but I'm trying to get a permanent root with SuperSU. Got TWRP working fine but can't seem to get the SuperSU zip to install.

The SuperSU zip will not install because the ramdisk patch fails and it aborts to save bricking you phone.

You need to do more research at this point is my advice to keep from having even bigger problems to solve.

Have you tried the app Super-Sume from the Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rsumepro&hl=en

Take time to read thoroughly & contact the developer if necessary before diving in.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gene...lease-t3110954

IDK if it will work with your phone &/or the version of Kingroot that you had to use to obtain root.
Also,as the previous post mentions, check out the device/carrier specific forum for your phone for other possibilities.

Yep. Bought Super-Sume, tried it and the phone sticks on the Tmobile screen after using the app. Had to re-flash the stock ROM. Tried contacting the developer, no response after a week. Pretty disappointing (and a waste of money).

Pretty much been searching here and online in general for 2 weeks. Various approaches seem promising but none have worked. All was well with the root on Lollipop 5.0 but 6.0 seems to be a different matter.

Info on my phone:
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini SCH-I435 (Verizon)
Android 4.4 Kit-Kat (Touchwiz)
Rooted with Kingoroot
SuperSU version is 2.78

This happened on whatever previous version of SuperSU I was running too. If anyone has any ideas what's going on or how I can figure out what's going on, (any logs I should be looking at?) I'd be very grateful. This phone gets really slow and unstable sometimes and the battery life is pretty poor, and I'd like to get it running smoothly and efficiently. Having 40% of the CPU used as often as it is is not ideal at all. Thanks!

supolicy is not supposed to be running more than a few seconds at a time, and only very sporadically - for most users that means once at boot, and that's it.

Try figuring out what the parent processes for supolicy are, perhaps an app is running it repeatedly? Or does it remain the same PID the whole time?

I just checked, and it does seem to be restarting the process, because the PID changes. According to GSAM it's part of "Kernel (Android OS)" although I'm not totally sure if that's what you're looking for. Thanks!

Can't get SuperSU zip to install
That's exactly the method I used to get TWRP on my G3. Unfortunately getting SuperSU to work after that remains the problem...
