Well first I will explain the Objective of this thread:

Here you can find your movil operator 1.6 firmware (if not here post the one you need and I will TRY to find it), for cases in wich you flashed a firmware on your x10 that isn't from your country or operator, and now your operator has released the 2.1 update, and you want to run your operators firmware in case of any incident with your phone.

Now, the instructions:

New Method To Downgread: (Easier)

1. Download this and extract in any folder of your computer: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=951777 (The credits of this goes to Bin4ry and Androxyde)

2. Download Your Firmware and extract it to the same folder where you have the flashtool.

3. Follow this tutorial to create the .tft file: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=10881252&postcount=4

4. Follow this tutorial to flash: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=943645

5. Now connect the phone to the PC and run PC Companion or SEUS. If it shows that there is a new software for your phone, follow the instructions and update if you want.

6. Enjoy your phone on Android OS 1.6 or 2.1 with your operator costumization.

And here are the Firmwares

(Remember this will do a Factory Reset, so make sure you have a backup of your things)
(If your Operator is not listed here please PM me)
(I will be very thanked if you send me a list of the movil operatos of your country)

hello

Hello everyone, as I have been receiving many emails about this thread I created some time ago, and haven't been able to update the links and add more, I sincerely apologize for the problems I may have caused. I moved to a place where I didn't have a good internet connection, neither have time because of college and at last i replaced my x10.
So, long story short, I am going to update the original post with the instructions on where to find and how to create the firmware for your phone. Expect it for tomorrow or Saturday (here in Guatemala is Thursday, 12:55 p.m.) I hope it isn't to late for this.

xml file ?

When i rename (to .rar) and extract my 2 rar files, I get 2 .xml files with the same name (one from each rar)
Which one should I bundle into my ftf file?

1.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<UPDATE>
<NOERASE>amss_fs.sin</NOERASE>
</UPDATE>

2.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<UPDATE>
<NOERASE>userdata_S1-SW-LIVE-AC12-0001-S1-PARTITION-WITH-SPARE.sin</NOERASE>
<SIMLOCK>simlock.ta</SIMLOCK>
</UPDATE>

Thanks.

    Hello, sorry for my long absence. Now I'm updating this thread as I do not have the time to create the firmwares. So the objective of the thread is:

    To give simple instructions on how to create your own firmware. I am going to assume that you already know how to:

    1. Read and follow instructions.
    2. Change extensions of files.
    3. Extract files.
    4. Use the flashtool.
    5. Create a .tft file.

    If you answer no to any of this questions, please investigate a little or do not attemp to do this.

    Now, the instructions:

    1. Go to this website http://www.omnius-server.com/ and register.

    2. Now that you have registered and logged in, go to this link http://www.omnius-server.com/downloads?id=58117. You should get this:
    3.jpg

    3. Now search for the firmware you are looking for in any of the folders. I'm going to choose the folder R1FA016, and the file X10a_CLARO_GT_NAM1_1234_4844.rar. But it is going to work with any.

    4. Now download it and create a new folder on the firmware folder of the flashtool and put it on there. Extract it and you should get two .rar files (if not, just change the extension to .rar). Extract them both on the same folder. You should get a lot of .sin files and a .xml file.

    5. Now you have to rename some files with a name like this:

    5.1. This one: "system_S1-SW-LIVE-AC12-0001-S1-PARTITION-WITH-SPARE.sin" to "system.sin"
    5.2. And this one: "userdata_S1-SW-LIVE-AC12-0001-S1-PARTITION-WITH-SPARE.sin" to "userdata.sin"

    Now you have a list of files like this: (the files that you have to change the name can vary depending on the firmware but the part you have to delete is going to be te same (_S1-SW-LIVE-AC12-0001-S1-PARTITION-WITH-SPARE), for example, so be sure to take a look to the picture if you are not so sure how a name should be)
    5.jpg

    6. Now create the .tft bundle and flash it.

    7. Enjoy the phone with the firmware you created.

    Q: I saw here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwqhGDwVL-Y&feature=player_embedded you need flash tool and add the att firmware into the Flash firmware folder.. Is this all I need to do to get back to 1.6 or do I have to do the DeviceID procedure as well?

    Thanks

    Well if the flash goes right without following the Device ID instructions, then they were done atomatically. Instead, follow them.
