About UV,

When opinions don't cut it, let the numbers speak

Here: http://xtreview.com/addcomment-id-2...ing-overclocking-and-battery-life-review.html

The test is made with an international Galaxy S3, same CPU as ours

Result after 120 minutes of heavy load:

Stock voltages:
Battery USED = 94%,
Max bat. temp = 53,5*c
Quadrant score = 4760

-100mv uv:
Battery USED = 85,5%
Max bat. temp = 50,3*c
Quadrant score = 4759

-100mv cpu uv, -50mv gpu uv:
Battery USED = 82,5%
Max bat. temp = 48,8*c
Quadrant score = 4746

1+1 = 2
UV, when well done = more battery, less heat, same performance and stability

Here's undervolting seen and experienced by my humble self

OMG:eek: Do you rere's really have nothing better to do? Why are you even on this thread if you disagree? Could it be that you are a little jealous that this kernel & thread is getting a little more attention on XDA then yourself? You are helping NOONE by coming in here trolling people, and you are educating noone! We could careless about all those numbers and values, this kernel WORKS and works wonderfully with many different roms. There were alot of members posting questions regarding what values they needed to set to get optimal performance out of this kernel, the dev was simply telling them to flash it and let it do its thing. Because for the most part that is what gets alot of novice users on here messed up, they think they need to download SetCPU and mess with the numbers and before you know it their phone won't wake, among other issues.

Nobody cares dude, for real, go somewhere else and enlighten someone with your extensive knowledge:rolleyes:

All I know is.....I been using this kernel and haven't touched oc/uc or uv and I am more than satisfied. Stock settings, for me at least, give me ideal performance and battery life. I get an average of 2d with 5h on screen time. And not a bit of lag in my performance whatsoever. Personally I have no reason to adjust anything with the cpu. I've had no frills cpu control honestly since I flashed xp12 on its release and haven't opened the app once. That's how phenomenal this kernel is.

Also fast charging at 1698 - THIS IS GREAT for my QCell 6200 mah :)

Anyone know how I can get fast charging with this kernel as well? Thought that was a sacrifice I was making by taking Saber over Perseus, no stweaks support with Saber right? I mean fast charging at this point would be iceing on the cake because I am loving me some Saber:thumbup:

the charger....

it's pretty common knowledge that most 'USB ports' only have an output of 500mah ( unless your computer is jacked as hell)

it wasnt so thx ... and to confirm then its not fast charge "it's pretty common knowledge" its cause the charger is a 2 amp( unless your cherger is jacked as hell or you got the small old one).
