I used the anker 4400 mah extended battery and it worked quite well It is 20 dollars on Amazon and you can buy a case that fits the phone for another 20.

With a calibrated caliper at work it measures at exactly .660"
Work at an aerospace factory so our equipment is pretty good.
That's the width of the case while its on the phone.
