Sad to say my GS3 has developed a pink/purple spot that's seems to be bleeding and getting bigger. Has anybody else experienced this . I'm pretty sure its hardware related and seeing this phone isn't even out a year yet I would think it still under warranty with Samsung. Agreed??
PS: As you see the pink/purple spot doesn't show up with a screenshot verifying its hardware related..

One thing I do miss from ICS is the tweak wiz with the app drawer being in the middle. Is that some thing it's possible to have an alternate zip for.

It's possible and I am trying my best to look into it. It involves smali edits. I might have to talk to someone particular about it.

Just wanted to say great job and thanks Stratatak7. Used to be a compulsive flasher but your Rom's rock solid stability and battery life have me hooked. I will admit though your 2.9 update had perfect timing as I was starting to get that itch.

Well that's no good. Definitely hardware related. If it's less than a year old, you have a warranty through Samsung. I believe you can contact AT&T to get that process started. They may tell you to go to Samsung though. Good luck!

You do realize that the rom leak most likely includes the locked bootloader that the S4 has?

Yeah, I'm not really sure what Samsung plans to do with that. It's going to make things more difficult. Plus, reworking the touchwiz kernel to run 4.2.2 on a device with a completely different processor is by no means an easy task for anyone. This is extremely unlikely that I will port this.

I'm really happy to see about 1500 of you have downloaded this so far. That's the most downloads in the shortest time ever on this ROM. I'm hoping to hear some feedback. How do you guys like Nun's settings menu work and the reboot menu? Also how is the popup browser? I don't use it. Did it do anything odd?

For what it's worth I started using this one at 2.8, jumped over to Jelly Beans for a little bit then ended up jumping back at 2.9 because I liked the stability of it much better as well as it was getting better consistent battery life. I do kinda wish we'd get 4.2.2 a bit faster so that you'd be able to develop it into a 4.2.2 rom

2.9 working smooth

How do you guys like Nun's settings menu work and the reboot menu? Also how is the popup browser?

Dirty flashed 2.9 over 2.8 without any problems. It was nice not to have set up accounts and severs.

Nun’s Settings menu is easy on the eyes, don’t use the popup browser but will have to give it a try, haven’t looked at the reboot menu, flashed Wednesday and haven’t needed to restart. The only change I’ve made is adding HD Widget’s clock/weather.

Everything working great.
With this lack of issues with this Rom I don’t spend time trying to make things work, I find myself reading the General thread just to keep busy and for something to read.

Thanks for all the work.

I've been using your ROM for a while now. With my old phone (Samsung Captivate) I was always flashing different ROMs. Just couldn't find one I liked. Once I got my GS3, I flashed a few (Serenity, ported from GNote and CM10) before I found yours. I haven't looked back since then.

This is the best ROM EVER! I will donate to you as soon as I can convince my wife to let me.

Thank you very much. If you can't convince her please don't worry about it. I'm just flattered that you guys would even want to do that in the first place. Nevertheless, it is always appreciated, but never necessary. I do this for fun. Please enjoy!

And a big thank you goes out to everyone here for the kind words and encouragement. It helps bring better things. Please remember to hit Nun's and mrhaley's thanks button too as they were a valuable resource in the new version. :)

Is anyone having horrible battery drain? I would have over half the battery remaining at the end of the day on 2.8 with 4hours screen time. Now the two or three days ive been on 2.9 my battery has completely drained in 7 hours or less.

Nope. I'm having better battery life. I only added a script for better RAM management, shouldn't have anything to do with battery to that extent. Let's get some things out of the way. Did you flash clean? Did you use better battery stats to check for a rogue app? Did you try another kernel? Did you install a new app recently? By the way, what is your screen on time after 7 hours? I definitely want to help you maximize your battery. Double check that your location sharing is not turned on constantly too.

I dirty flashed, haven't added any new apps or changed any settings. I just went back to 2.8 after my battery went to one percent in seven hours with 1.5 hours screen time. I'll try 2.9 again in a fee days but I need the battery life as I'm in the field often and can't have a dead phone out there. Lete know if there is something you want to me to try.

Definitely can't have a dead phone in the field. I have over 8 hours of on time, 1.5 of screen time, a multitude of app usage today (facebook, weather, xda, etc) and I am still at 50%. This was all on cellular data. Can you double check your MD5. A clean flash if you upgrade again is going to be recommended. This is a time where better battery stats is highly recommended and helpful to both me and you.

I have noticed at initial flash the battery life will only be so so. Give 1 good full drain and then a few semi drains and it seems to work well.

Its drained on me completely twice already. I just wiped and reinstalled, so I'll see how that goes. I just didn't have the time for a clean install at first and never had any issues going dirty with the other versions.

Please note: Photos represent theme work. Please use Wanam Xposed Framework (Included) to theme the ROM to your liking.

    Information:

This is a stock-based ROM that I've made using UCUEMJB firmware for the AT&T Galaxy S3. I've spent a lot of time developing this ROM making it nice and stable and using the tweaks I thought were the best for smoothness, battery life, and stability. This ROM uses a modified, optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me that includes support for init.d scripts and a few extra bells and whistles.

    Features:
    • UCUEMJB Android 4.3 Official Base
    • Modified and optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me
    • Extended power menu
    • Extended APN list
    • Smoothness and battery life tweaks
    • Fully de-odexed
    • Fully zipaligned
    • Bashed
    • Rooted
    • init.d script support and tweaks
    • Real time status bar colors
    • Real time battery bar mod
    • 1% battery mod
    • ADB support
    • Debloating
    • Xposed Framework for custom theming
    • AT&T logo removed
    • Wifi Notification removed
    • Google Now
    • S-Voice
    • Multiwindow
    • Google Keyboard
    • Multi-language support
    • AllianceRom Boot Animation
    • Increased group messaging size
    • Increased MMS size and quality
    • AT&T Contacts removed
    • System sounds from the Nexus 4
    • No increasing ringtone
    • SMS split removed, messages with multiple pages combined
    • Blacklisting
    • MMS slideshow removed so MMS appears threaded and individual
    • Multi SMS lock
    • Call block menu in settings
    • Popup Browser
    • Many other tweaks...

    Installation Instructions:
    1. You MUST have the UCUEMJB or UCUEMJ2 bootloader and the UCUEMJB modem installed before proceeding or this ROM will not work properly. Your data and wifi may be broken if you do not do this first. These are available here: Bootloader and Modem Options
    2. Download ROM to SD card
    3. Reboot into recovery (Must be the latest version)
    4. Do a factory reset
    5. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
    6. Wipe system
    7. Flash Rom (This process may take a minute or two)
    8. Wipe cache and dalvik cache again just to be safe
    9. Tap reboot
    10. In TWRP: Slide the slider to allow TWRP to fix SuperSU permissions (optional)

    Post Installation Instructions:
    • Upon first boot, SystemUI may force close due to modifications. Let the phone settle for a minute and reboot. You should not experience this again.
    • It is HIGHLY suggested that you keep ALL Google Now cards off, verify that you are not updating your location with Google Maps (in Maps settings menu). Remember, Google Now automatically turns on your location settings to update through Google Maps, so after enabling Google Now, unless you want your location on all the time, go to Google Maps and turn it off. Your battery will thank you even more.
    • If you get a Google account sign-in error after installing, there is an easy fix. Go to Menu > Settings > Accounts and Sync. Please REMOVE your current Google account and then add it again. I do not know why this happens to some people, but it doesn't seem to be ROM related. It happens on several devices including the Nexus. Removing and then re-adding your account again fixes this problem

New version 3.0 is up and running. Completely new base. Theming will come later, but most of loserskaters real-time mods have been added so please make sure to head on over to all of his modification threads and thank him as well as enewman17. I have updated tweaks and we are good to go on the new base. Flash away and enjoy! Remember to read the OP as flashing instructions are new. Please make sure you check the MD5 for verification. SystemUI may crash upon first boot. That is normal. Simply reboot the phone and it should not occur again. Thanks for all your patience guys. This has taken me a long time, but I hope it is worth it. :)
