Freezes at splash screen
Can someone please help me? I have been running V3, with no problems and no FC's since it's release. When I tried to update to V4, I got a freeze at splash screen when rebooting, or power on. Had to pull battery then it would boot, until next time. So, I went back to V3, with no problems. Now I have installed V5, following all of the steps above and I have the same problem (splash screen freeze on reboot or power on). I feel like I am going to be stuck on V3 forever. :-(
In addition, I followed all of the steps above and after second boot, the USB connect shows in the notification bar (after plugging in to PC), but when I drag it down and touch it, nothing happens. Gscript still does work OK.

Speaking of splash screens, has anyone noticed that there are two different ones? The first time I got the one that was a picture of an Android as a gingerbread man; the second time (I flashed over it again,same OMGB version 5, did a data wipe and reflashed the kernel), I got a weird, silver Android logo that sparkled until boot was complete. Does it work? Yes. Was it weird? Hella yes. Anyone know anything about this?

Well, that's not good.
Anyone know if ANY AOSP kernel will work on these GB ROMs? I might try one other than invisiblek's because, obviously (and yes I know this is annoying most of you, but I'm still working on a solution) my phone keeps overheating. Though, using OMGB, it doesn't overheat AS fast. Still does it, but not as fast as on Evervolv. Maybe Kingx or another AOSP kernel will give better results?
OMGB-5 is looking pretty promising! Only thing keeping me from going for it is the GPS and camcorder. The camcorder not being there isn't that big of a deal but I use the GPS CONSTANTLY! Between Foursquare, Google places, and navigation, I really work the GPS. Any progress on fixing these bugs? Do they work sometimes or are they completely shot?

R2, awesome work, glad I waited till v5 came out... Bluetooth says its working and sync's with my headset, but phone doesn't pump out to headset. I think you said you were still working on this?
OMGB was fine for me, then I started getting a lot of lag. Switched back to Evervolv.

did you restore data from another ROM by chance? when I restored data from my MIUI ROM I had no notification bar but the sounds came through just fine.

Ok figured out a work around for my issue with Bluetooth headset; connects but no sound, I have beautiful widget and I tried using bluetooth toggle through it versus power panel/settings, it connected right up and I have sound.
SD card works perfectly for me, when I installed rom, I first went in and:
wiped to factory
wiped davlik cache
then installed rom
Market works also, a lot of the products that were in market do not work work 2.3; gingerbread, so you can't even find them, if you try and restore from Titanium, they won't install either, as it knows they aren't compatible.

Actually Angry Birds will work, it just won't work if you have it on your SD card. I had the same issue and I moved it back to my phone and it plays just fine. Same with Angry Birds Seasons, I haven't had the issue for any other game.

We're lucky in that we're not the the first devs to port it. The Evo build helped us fix:

I know this will just get lost in the page shuffle in a few minutes, but seriously guys - and gals - please pay attention to the OP... The versions of R2's ROM on Rom Manager are outdated and antiquated - read: obsolete. The current AND STABLE version is in the OP, OMGB-4, not 3, not 2, not 1, not SDKv5... OMGB-4. I'm sure when R2 wakes up from his well deserved nap - or gets home from his finals - he will update Rom Manager to the current release. Until then, stop looking at Rom Manager, and learn to do the flashing manually.
Also, there is a KNOWN issue with Kernel #21 not working with SOME SLCD screens on Droid Incredible's purchased after September 10th or something like that. If you have no touch responsiveness, please install Kernel #18, which is available in the forums, and there is a link a few pages back in this thread. We are still working on Camcorder and GPS functionality, but other than those two items, the ROM is very fast and very stable. Until we get GPS fixed, location based programs will not install on your phone, so if you require the use of location based programs, WAIT until we get GPS fixed to flash this ROM.
