[ROM] AOKP [Nightlies]

AOKP Android Open Kang Project

Installation of AOKP:

1. Flash CWM recovery with Odin as PDA.
2. After you boot into recovery backup your current rom in case you want to go back (later you can use the Restore option)
3. After you've made your backup go to 'mounts and storage' and format the following

system
data
cache

4. Install zip from sdcard -> latest build from here (use this method to install this rom)
5. Install zip from sdcard -> gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
6. Reboot!

Updating from previous nightlies:

1. Reboot to recovery
2. Install .zip from sdcard
3. Reboot

No wiping required.

Great, this forum was dead with no cyanogenmod and aokp! But now it is back to life! I have been monitoring this section for a while although I don't own this device and can't buy this device either! Anyways cheers to the developer of this rom!

Flashed 2 times with the same error:
set_perm: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard...... (Status 7)
Installation aborted

do you think you can fix it soon .... I need my phone, so I have to decide install back cm or wait

which CWM version your' linking to? didn't see a working one till this moment.... besides to my personal experience on the I9505 (!) right now TWRP is working much more better...

I'm only basing this on reports. The version I'm linking to is one built by me.
Use whichever works for you. If you see a set_perm error, try to boot anyway and let me know if it works! Screenshots appreciated.

Flashed again - same error, but phone is booting!
I didn't install gapps. So tell me which logs you want.

no permission to get su in adb - in superuser settings i checked app+adb
/edit2
flashed again and after flashing cwm asked me to fix root. Now I have su in adb shell.

I just need the error message you got in CWM when flashing.

So the build is fine it works?

Can you make some shots? Try out basic features?

Basic features seems to be ok. Phone calls, wlan on/off, bluetooth is ok. Also the problem with no voice after connecting the bt-headset with this build. No NFC.
I'm sure I saw 4G ... now I can only connect to 3G or edge. And after a short time, the data connection drops totally away.

Seems to be a problem with the LTE driver. When I switch to GSM/WCDMA I have a data connection. After checking LTE/GSM/WCDMA the connection gets lost (when switching to 4G I think)
