This is the first time i rooted my Xperia Z1. I just followed the procedure in the first post.
Can you please tell me how to flash the SuperSU. ?

Go to this site: http://nut.xperia-files.com/ and download Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.7.123-BETA.installer.zip (10.22MB)
Extract whole archieve and run install.bat => Select option #2

This will install recovery menu on your device. Open the app NDRUtils and click 'reboot to recovery'. From there, install SuperSU zip file.

adb is provided within the packet. You just need adb drivers to be installed. If you get the message "Device found!" then you have adb drivers installed.

Try restarting your phone. Also check your phone if there is any message and make sure you grant the RSA key on your phone if you get any message.

I think I found my problem, that adb drivers isn't installed yet and when I downloaded the installer and run it, it says "Incompatible with Win8 x64" trying to get another installer for adb drivers.... :(

Yeah, I saw it thanks. But I'm not sure if it will work on Z1S since that guy also used another method.

If you have flashtool installed, go to flashtool directory /drivers and run Flashtool-drivers.exe

Done that, I checked Flashmode Drivers, Fastboot Drivers, and XPERIA Z1 Compact drivers, but that XZ1C Drivers cannot be installed... I'm very confused with this adb thing :(

This is Easy Root Tool for various Xperia devices (first developed for Z1 Compact). It's almost one-click root. The tool should work on Windows, Linux and Mac. Bootloader is untouched! No data is being wiped.

Note: Does not work on latest firmwares of most devices. Check your device forum for a work around (you should be able to flash kernel of old firmware to root and then flash back latest kernel).

    What you get
    • Root
    • Access to /system rw

    Requirements
    • USB debugging enabled
Settings => About phone => Click 7 times on Android Build to unlock developer options
    • Unknown sources enabled
      Settings => Security
    • adb drivers installed

    How to use
    1. Download the attachment (latest version) and extract it
    2. Start your device and plug it to your computer
    3. Run install.bat and follow the instructions on screen
    4. Congratulations! You should now be rooted.
