Yes, the SETTING is there for the adjustable ranges of speeds. But look at the 'info' page of setCPU and you will see that it doesn't run at 100MHz at all.

Tanimn is aware of the scaling issue and will have a fix soon!

See the features listed in the first post. For one - right now, this is the only kernel to get ADB and Wired Tether to properly coexist. It also implements TCPMSS (also for Wired Tether - includes performance) and a bunch of optimizations to increase battery life and performance.

Tests show 1500/3400+ in Smartbench on SyndicateROM Frozen.

Sure thing.

As a reminder, support for this and all ACS releases is also available on IRC at irc.droid-life.com #acs-users.

Can this kernel run with dk28? Just want the speed+battery enhancements right now, don't have time for a full reflash+app reinstallation

Actually, that is a BAD idea. Some properties need to be left alone, and firmware version is one of them. Things don't work when you change that.

Thanks for pointing this out. v1.0.1 is up with a bugfix for that issue. SetCPU now controls and interprets the cpu speed correctly. Right now I'm recommending the ondemand governor. For the moment it seems to be better behaved than it was in eclair.
