denpad.. you cleared all your stuff but a lot of times (every time for me) not installing something else always causes a bootloop. What you need to do is pull the battery, hold down both the up and down volume keys and the power button and stick the battery back in, forgot that part, then when the triangle thing comes up let go and then hit both volume keys again at the same time. now you choose recovery...PLEASE keep in mind, in stock recovery, the up volume is your enter button so be careful. Anyway, in there choose wipe data/factory reset. Let that go and then reboot when done.

Reserved for later..

I don't see how I'm the first one to catch this in roms, but init.d is not supported yet. There are two ways that I know of to fix this, check out Liberty Rom (really haven't figured it out) or check out my post http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1294009 (I have added it to your rom and it works). Basically just add load_pia.sh to /system/bin/ ; and install-recovery.sh and recovery.fstab to /system/etc/ ; the files are in the zip. Test it by checking /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb for contents. This will fix your init.d on your rom which is great by the way.

update: the install-recovery.sh is already in your rom and only requires the other two files.

The load_pia is not required for it to work. All you need is the recovery.fstab for it to work. I had it working before with only the recovery hack but adding your recovery.fstab fixes it..

Quick question, did you remove the moto blur alarm clock feature?

The Biggest reason I have stuck with blur rom's is because I LOVE when I dock my Bionic the awesome clock has a sleep timer so I can start music and fall asleep to it...

Thanks, ROM looks great, once I've figured out the answer to that, I'll give it a shot.

Rom is butter, only one thing I've noticed is when fully charged and still connected percent meter teeters from 100%-99% back and forth without downloading or any games just general browsing ie XDA,af, etc. Etc. Not sure if my charger port is the culprit or if anyone else is having same issue since this rom. I have just recently switched from stock 5.7.893 so I didn't have 1% battery either for a week or so since the 893's came rolling out. Just a question not sure if it is rom related or just a new hardware issue sorry and thanks. And once again thanks for the awesome work.

same thing happened to me and went into stock recovery but it still boot looped and could go into clock work and in stock couldn't load any back up
so I had to click back to stock and start from scratch
I want to try this rom but im afraid about boot loop

you must also delete the data....

1st, the reason for the error.... Some apps are included in the ROM and signed with a signature based off the ROM. Now, when these apps update in the market you will see that an update is available but you can't install it because the signatures don't match.

2nd.. how to update... there are 2 ways to do it, I am only stating the easy one. Go into Settings>Applications>Manage Apps and select the "All" tab. Fine whatever app you are messing with and click on it. Choose the "Clear Data" box about 1/3 to 1/2 way down. Now, for good measure (I use Root Explorer for this) go into system/app and delete that app. Reboot.

App is gone and its data is also gone. Now you are free to go to the market and download the app.

The battery going from 100 - 99 - 100... is not the ROM but how the bionic handles your battery. It is nothing to worry about. It does the same thing on stock ROM if you add 1% battery too.

    Q&A Section:
Q: What do I need to be running first to flash eclipse?

A: Recommended to be running the 905 OTA build first.

Q: I am rooted and running stock 905 build. Now what?
A: Download Eclipse and place it somewhere on your sdcard.
-Make sure you have the bootstrap installed.
    -Install Bootstrap
    -Reboot Recovery
-On the main screen of recovery select wipe data
-Next select install zip from sd card. Select the eclipse zip, install and reboot!

    Q: I lost my radio/data!
A: You must be running 905 in order for the radio to work properly

Q: I am geting force closes and other weird stuff
A: It is highly recommended to wipe data each time you flash eclipse. If the problem persists I would re-download the rom, wipe data and flash again.

Does anyone have a link for this rom? I remember it's awesomeness. My Xt1080m is being repaired, and my Rezound's battery sucks. and wireless charging doors for the Bionic are only $5 on ebay. (so clearly, the door is coming to me in the mail, and I am rocking old school on my last fully functional Bionic. lI want to keep my original web top intact, but cannot live with the stock rom anymore. ;)
I should have this on my server at home. I will find it tonight for you.

Dunno, I've been thinking bout running, trying to get info, etc., but either it's super stable and everyone's happy or no one is running it. Would've thought dev would've visited or made some comments by now, since I posted q's over 12 hours ago.

maybe this isn't the main thread for it? Maybe the main thread is somewhere else...?

Yes there will be updates for this on a regular basis. I put out status updates on twitter as well as test builds if you would like to keep up to date on where I am with Eclipse.

I am a one man team so I cannot possibly get around to answering everything or reading every forum and still have a life. lol. Most of the activity is found on a different forum for the bionic.
