'Ubuntu for Phones' is separate from 'Ubuntu for Android' (which is still being developed) .
There are no ETAs on ports. Check your device's specific development forum for port information. Be patient, do not make threads asking for ETAs.

Entry-level Ubuntu phones will require a 1Ghz Cortex A9 processor and between 512MB and 1GB of memory, while the high-end superphones that double as PCs will require a quad-core A9 or Intel Atom processor and at least 1GB RAM.

Ubuntu for phones will not launch with an app store (but will be released after launch) nor will it include an android app compatibility layer from canonical.
Will contain a terminal with perhaps an optimised keyboard for the terminal.
