Plants vs Zombies 2 would fc during the loading process, but before the splash screen. When in Dalvik runtime mode, it would say it (the game, in logcat) didn't have permission to write to a certain directory (storage/usb? unsure), even if I went and changed the permissions on that directory and the one it resided in to rwx/rwx/rwx.
In ART mode, it would load, then crash either right when the start screen displayed, or when I was trying to select a stage. The logcat this time stated something about a memory allocation error for the adreno200-gsl gpu, causing the gpu to produce a failure immediately afterward. The failure didn't come with a code. Then the system would dump pvz2 as a non-responsive app or some such. The original memory allocation error would occur after the game loaded 6 or 7 different textures for the game. Pretty easy to know the textures were for the game since they were named after the plants and the stage settings in the game.
This is the only game I can provide details on, sorry. Also, no changes to the build.prop changed anything in the logcats I had.
(Shogun, Total War Battles fc'd on run also, never logcat-ed it)
Back to the vanishing wallpaper bug.. I'm on 20/12 now and not had any probs on that front... Just now any app I place in the bottom right corner of the quick launch bar vanishes at every reboot! All others stay there apart from that one!

Weird... I am having the same problem on my Nexus 7 (2012) that is running Kitkat and GEL.

Not great, between 7-8 hours of active use, overall about a day between charges, but not as bad as you describe.
Have you tried diagnosing the issue? An app with wakelock? I know some have experienced battery problems before uninstalling the default launcher if they use a third party.
Battery life on the 12/13 build is actually pretty solid. What changed between then and now that caused that?

CW ROM Install error "package is for v500 devices; this is a "awifi"

That's not the latest version of TWRP for this device. Recheck the TWRP thread.

I can't post links, however if you Google "multiple users Android build.prop" you'll find a link to pocketables named "How to enable multiple user mode on CyanogenMOD 10.1 (and some other Android 4.2.2 ROMs)"
Has been working amazingly! You have to make sure to edit the build.prop file as well to make it stick, however omitting this step won't actually get rid of the extra user, it will merely hide it after reboot.
So anyone else having an issue with the screen not rotating on the newest nightly?

Known issues:
-While LG's knock on feature works, knock off does not work yet.(A simple work around is go to the settings and add a "go to sleep" quick settings tile)
-Currently only for v500. GPE v510 support coming soon.

Must have latest recoveries installed. If you installed your recovery prior to December 6th 2013 then you need to update it.
If flashing from a LG based rom then you must wipe the /data

Notes on issues I've experienced so far:
Rotation
-On first boot, auto rotation seems to not work. A reboot fixes it.
SD Card
-External SD card is seen as a module available on the v500 under Settings>Storage, but ejected or not, it reads as 0 bytes.
-The ROM does register though when you eject a card without dismounting.
-ES File explorer is able to navigate to the card using root access.
Volume
-Both speakers are playing audio, but even maxxed out, it does not play as loudly as when on the Stock ROM which comes with the device.
Browser
-AOSP Browser crashes when modifying settings
Wifi
-Some people have reported not being able to use 5GHz wifi (but I'm not seeing that)
-Single report of WPA security connections not connecting. WPA2 works for them though.
IR Blaster
-Currently does not work when using Smart IR Remote by Color Tiger https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy
-Cannot restore the LG remote app using TitaniumBackup
-I'm open to any app recommendations which are confirmed working with this ROM

Good God... You don't quit/stop with that non sense, mate....! I have my G Pad for more than 20 days now... Used stock 4.2.2 for a few hours, then flashed my first linaro build for the v500... The tablet is fast, responsive, fluid, no hick ups, nothing.... Interactive gov/ cfq sched... Don't know what's the issue with yours, but don't come trashing about the tablet... Do you see anyone whining so much about it?!
