It's a tiny little subset of Voodoo Lagfix. VL switched the filesystem from RFS to ext4, then tweaked it. When you're already ext4, all you can do is tweak - the improvement is FAR less noticeable, because just switching to ext4 is a major improvement.
Use native tethering. No need for adhoc support in client devices.
