Finally!! Root in V20* Firmwares (Only in P-920 and P-920h)

just wanted to add that this worked on the first try for the v20c without a hiccup for me on a at&t thrill
no...it works....i was impatient
and i didn't wait the entire process....after rooting...i notice that cwm only had optimus 2x, but after 2 reboot...everything is ok.....
i hope v20b stops ghost calls!!!!!
Can you post a link where you got the 20c for your Thrill? I can't find the .fls anywhere.

This APK is just a specially modified version of the Sudoku app (it could be any app, I just chose that one), and it's necessary to trigger the vulnerability used to gain root. If you look at the root script, you'll notice I uninstall the APK after rooting is complete. whell, as you see there is nothing to think bad about this root tool, the evil.apk its just an app.

Ghost calls
Hello guys
I just downgrade to Froyo becuase of the ghost calls. Can anyone confirm if the problem is gone? If so I am in Brazil and what version should I upgrade if the problem is gone?

Problems start right after "Owning phone"
run-as: 'com.ti.frmrxapp' is unkown
yep, a have the same problem!!!! anu idea.
For those who hace the problem in "owning phone" please be sure you are the last drivers for your device and the USB debugging option enabled, this error its because the computer has not comunication with the phone

i got root on v20a Brazilian and v20a Mexican but it will works in any v20 version
All credits to Dan dont forget to donate!11well as far as i know, the ghost calls came from the baseband of the v21A firmware and the other firmwares has a "new" baseband, so if you flash v20a, b, c or any firmware, i suposse what with the new baseband u will not have ghost calls
i have instaled v20a and till now i have no ghost calls1It worked! Finally, no need to flash my phone down to V21a.
