He's right about booting into recovery. If you can't boot into recovery any other way, hold volume down and hit the power button. It'll put you in the boot loader. You will have to hit volume down to get to get to the recovery and hit power again. Once in recovery, choose flash zip. Navigate to the BootManager folder, then the phonerom folder. Install the boot.img zip in that folder. Then reboot. What ROM is you phone ROM? If it's a gingerbread ROM and you flashed the ICS gapps for Unicorn, you'll probably have to flash a gb gapps. If you need help doing that, post back and I'll explain what to do. Otherwise, once you get into your phonerom, you'll be able to go to BootManager and flash the ICS gapps zip for Unicorn. Let me know if you need help with that.

that worked. thanks! i was able to just wipe cache and flash the update.zip in the phonerom folder.
seems to work. maybe try fixing permissions and wiping cache/dalvik from recovery. from my experience this seems to fix a lot of issues

i always find that i have plenty of space to have all of my apps in internal memory so i just keep them there because it seems to work better overall. but maybe it is a kernel issue? when i transfered an app to my sd card to try this it worked fine so im not sure but im running chads kernel. maybe it makes a difference.
Is anyone else having issues with slow SD card writing? It seems like apps I use which cache to the sdcard aren't working that well. Xiaalive, which I use to stream Shoutcast, takes forever to buffer, and sometimes times out while it's buffering (even while connected to wifi). Newsrob, an RSS reader, takes around 5 minutes to sync while it used to take about 2, also while connected to wifi.

I can imagine. I have a lot of apps so I tend to put them on my 32 GB SD card so I don't have to worry about using up all the internal space. I might check out Chad's kernel tonight to see if it helps. Also, I used TB to move them, and some of the ICS ROMs haven't been playing nice with TB

Reinstalled the ROM and APK and it worked. I really like the ROM so far. Solid stuff, great job devs
Quick thing though: Every time I text/type with a keyboard, the Keyboard/Accessibility notification shows up in the status bar. Is anyone else getting that? Not really a negative, but maybe a bug?

I did a clean install of AOKP milestone 5, and everything is running nicely, however, there is no sound coming out of the earpiece when I make an outgoing call.
Also, sip or "internet calling" does not work. I get a force close after one ring. My PBX shows that the phone is being registered, so I'm halfway there. Anyway, I haven't had sip calling naively work since my EVO 4g. Is anyone else having luck with native sip calling? If so, which rom are you using? Csipsimple, Sipdroid, Linphone, and Media5fone all fail to place outgoing calls. Or they place calls, and have horrible sound quality. If you use your shooter as a soft phone, avoid this rom at this time.

I use groove ip and it works fine.... i tried sipdroid but hot a "your call cannot be placed as dialed...." error

Basically what happens is that occasionally Tasker gets killed and restarted which will lower my volume back down to 5/15 (if I had increased it) and it will open up the music app list.
I know the way to circumvent this is to have Tasker run in the notification bar, but I have never had this issue with CM9, so I'm wondering what in AOKP is causing this. Anyone else seeing something similar to this?

ok now the goods this is an aokp source build based off of 4.04, I will update this a few days after teamkang post a new build, im really busy so I will drop in when I can for support but please post bugs here I can't test everything

Ok have to talking to agrbren and finally sitting down to do this i have an m6 build with a nice surprise, sadly jb is much farther out than i thought and m6 is the last ics aokp build till jelly bean so pending no issues on this build im going back into my cave with my nexus 7 (check out my rom)
