there have been reports regarding this on more than one occasion on more than one tw 4.1.2 roms...the most commonly discussed solution for the specific experience you're describing is to disable the ripple effect of the lockscreen, although I'm not sure that's what you're using, but if so, then go to lock settings and disable it

I personally use pin lock, and sometimes I get a very brief delay to unlock after my screen comes on...it's very brief because for me a simple tap on the power button snaps it back to life, right away and the issue is gone

try that and report back if the issue persists

and if you can possibly come up with a data not connecting issue, sashusmom could use something to do and a modem issue is right up her alley, but don't try to fake a problem...she knows when people do that

Is there any way to overclock the GPU from 266 to 300, i am having bad experience with HD games in this rom, like Modern Combat 3, ShadowGun... and some lag with launcher too...
I am trying to overclock with the playstore updated Trickster MOD app, and always thath i put in 300 or 320 it back to 266...
it can be a modem problem? its any way to know what is the modem/radio of my AT&T Note?

Sorry my bad english...

I went ahead and disabled the ripple effect. Results will require a few days of real-world testing as the issue never seems to pop up in the comfort of my own home.

I have had no obvious modem or connection issues; I tend to revert back to stock before switching between AOxP and modified stock ROMs. Why would someone fake a phone problem? Nevermind -- we have some sick people in this world who pretend to be sick with something else.

unfortunately, I sometimes joke and do a horrible job of it...I was kidding about conjuring up a modem issue just to give sashusmom something to do

Copy that. I need to clarify my earlier comment a bit: I will not bail on Padawan until I have exhausted all options and I am learning that I am still a long way away from there. I can get along fine for now without mobile data by loading up map tiles or whatever I need while on wifi. Besides, I get only 200Mb(!) of data on my plan and get thoroughly hosed for any overages. Cell contracts up here are vastly more expensive than down yonder. But I am encouraged by Verison moving into the market and giving the isp oligarchs up here a swift kick in the pants. The only reason I worry about not having mobile data is for when my little nest of vipers takes the phone with her. She tends to get cranky when things do not work as advertised.

GPU OC would be great but the kernel does not support it yet.

configuration of what on this ROM?

you need to narrow it down a bit. if you want a full configuration, I am sure there is a character limit at some point.

I have my launcher configured, home screen, app drawer, trickster (which has a few configurations in itself) ?????????

narrow it down please. help people, help you and remember every phone is different. what may work for me, may not for you.

I'm sorry homie, I meant best non lag full performance that still retains battery life configuration.

I have typed this sooo many times, please don't take this as rude or not willing to help. if I didn't want to help, I simply wouldn't reply.

but you are going to get condensed version here.

many simply disable ripple effect on lockscreen first.

then do yourself a favor and start reading on p.355 thru about p. 378.

may sound like a lot, but there is a lot of insight and suggestions there.

for me..........disabling ripple, smartass V2 governer, frequencies set at min 384000 & max 172800 has got me running orgasmic. you can use that as a starting point, then tweak and adjust for personal needs.

but read because there are valuable tips and tricks required to get settings to stick.if I typed it all, that would turn this post into a novel.

Did you uncheck the ripple effect in the lockscreen settings?

Also sometimes I have to hit the power button a second time to wake it for real.

    Instructions

    TWRP RECOVERY RECOMMENDED

    ALWAYS FULL WIPE! Please Dont ask if you can Dirty Flash. And if you do, DO NOT report issues as they were probably caused by your flash

    -Download ROM
    -Backup your apps with preferred method
    -Flash ROM
    -Aroma will guide you through your installation (If installer freezes for any reason, pull battery and start over)
    -Be sure to select any and all applications that you want installed
    -Boot system and DO NOT TOUCH FOR 10 MIN to allow caches to build and the system to fully settle
    -After the 10 min, reboot phone and enjoy the Force

    I will remember that, considering your post count, you are making the accusation here that development has discontinued or that you now have everything mastered.

    am I mistaken that your name sounds familiar due to the fact that you had what you considered, a major issue with your phone ? maybe a week or so ago?

    don't worry about me, im playing a bit. but there is allllwwwwaaaaayyyys more to explore, and this thread is hardly done.

    if you read, you know that the OP is taking a break from development for personal reasons. most likely a well deserved break. not to mention, the release of 4.3. whether there was really any major improvements or changes is a mute point. I am sure most development has stopped taken a detour to focus on that.

    whether what I have said is true or not, making a public statement such as "I think this thread is done" OR "nothing more to explore here", comes across (to me) is an ungrateful statement. it might give the impression that your thought is, that all this developers work is for nothing and why did they waste their time.

    when the fact is, all these developers do this selfless act for the enjoyment of others and because they love what they do..

    this is not a rant, just friendly advice for a person who is new to XDA. who may be unaware of the unity and love of the members for their devices, developers and their minions or loyal followers.

    stick around my friend and see what happens all around our forum, not just this thread. plenty to explore
