I have no problems downloading via the stock browser. *.zip, *.pdf, *.apk, *.png, *.jpg - what type of file are you trying to download that is not supported? I am pretty sure that I have been able to download any file - it is then saved in the download folder on the SD. Whether or not you can run it on the phone is something you find out later.

ah... perhaps its the wipe... i just updated straight from cyan 5.0.6 without a wipe.
i find it odd how that can make such a difference in how the system operates... but then im no android coder at any level.

anywho, I still expect the official build to fix it up

Don't extract! Flash it via recovery and put it in the root of your sd before

if you have astro file manager go into menu>preferences>enable browser download

this works for me so hopefully it helps.

but how to install it..? pls reply installation procedure
