I never had that happen when running many different 4.2.2 ROMs on my epic touch
When running my Galaxy Nexus, 4.2 ROM's all do the sdcard0 storage thing, it was annoying at first but once you make the plunge to 4.2.2 and never go back then it's nothing anymore, but if you are bouncing back and forth you'll end up with a folder tree from hell, it's best to not switch back and forst between a 4.1 to 4.2 until you know your gonna stick with 4.2.2...
Trust me, I ended up having like 7 different directories that contained a 0 folder and I I ended up just copying my stuff off my phone and wiping internal storage to make sure it was clean.
Yea it wasn't fun to mess with... I'll wait until this Rom is stable before I flash it.

It also partially has to do with the recovery you use to flash it....Try updating to the latest if you haven't already or flash the opposite recovery of what you're already using

I'd have a hard time lumping this into the category of what was going with the earlier builds. The only similarity is the heat, which is probably due to his phone being locked at 1.7 GHz and not any sort of CM bug, and most likely the cause of his catastrophic cpu failure.5Or you can also assign menus to the HTC logo by settings- advanced settings-touchscreen.
