What issues? So far I've had no issues with root applications. Maybe I'm just looking for the wrong things? TiBu works. Trickster works. Solid explorer works.

Same here, plus otg helper, foldermount , and hide soft keys. I have found some programs to not work at all though, fullscreen, Horn, and lmt launcher's back and menu keys do not work, at least for me.

From reading other threads, the issues seem to be with the Superuser Apps. I believe one of them was patched already.

This isn't really a big deal since there are plenty of 4.3 ROMs but I use the N7 to test builds. This is the unmodded deodexed 4.3 ROM for the N7 for anyone that wants it. You will want to flash the SuperSU zip and I would strongly recommend not using the 4.2.x GAPPs.

ROM: http://d-h.st/oDf
SuperSU: http://download.chainfire.eu/342/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.43.zip
Bank's test 4.3 GAPPs: http://goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps

Flashed and running successfully. There is a noticeable difference in how the update runs smoother. What used to lag, is actually running a lot smoother. Thank you Muzzy for your hard work!

Thanks so much for making this available for the N7. Yesterday, I was able to update my GN Toro phone with your 4.3 Mod, and it later occurred to me that an MMuzzy equivalent Rom for the N7 would make my life complete. It took a bit of digging through this thread to find it, but it works, and I am grateful.

I did have to do a clean flash on the N7, unlike the GN, but that is fine.

I did note that it seems the 4.2.2 version of the QS Mod is in the Rom. That app crashed when I tried to configure it. I deleted the QSM.APK file in /system/app to remove the app.

Again, many thanks for your fine work. I hope you will be helping us for a long time.

It's always a good idea to clean flash, especially whenever there's a numerical change with the Android OS, taking in mind all the changes that have been made with 4.3. I clean flashed and it's working perfectly. TRIM and all.

So it's not an official muzzy 4.3 rom then? I'll wait for muzzy to comment

It is. Try dirty flashing, and if everything works like it should, then call it good. Make a nandroid though just in case something goes wonky. As for Muzzy, the reply may take a while. He's got more responsibilities that he's taking care of right now, and so he released the vanilla build to run as stable and as smooth as possible without too much maintenance. Happy flashing!

AOSP JellyBean 4.2.2 Official Source hot off the AOSP servers. This ROM is AOSP. The only files that were changed or added were to make things nicely functional. Thanks to everyone for the kind words, technical help, suggestions, and for using the ROM!

This ROM is closely related to builds I make for Toro, Toroplus, Manta and Mako.

    ----------------
    Features include:
    - Deodexed
    - Root with Superuser
    - Expanded Desktop
    - Quick Settings Mod (Kevdliu)
    - Enhanced Power Menu (Craig Gomez)
    - Power Menu Screenshot (CM)
    - Play app auto restore
    - Lean and fast build from AOSP

    ----------------
    Downloads:

    ROM - Download - 7/12/13
    GAPPs - Download

    Goo.im

    ----------------
    Directions (Clean Flash)
    1. Wipe factory data/reset
    2. Wipe cache
    3. Go into mounts and storage
    4. Format /system
    5. Format /data
    6. Format /cache
    7. Wipe dalvik
    8. Flash ROM
    9. Flash GAPPs

    Directions (Dirty Flash)
    1. Wipe cache
    2. Wipe dalvik
    3. Flash ROM
    4. Flash GAPPs

    Tips:
    - Clean flash strongly recommended with Android 4.2!
    - Turn off Currents background sync! Major lag cause in 4.2.
    - To be safe, I recommend clean flashing with the Superwipe script. Especially if coming from another ROM.
    - If you get a status 7 error flashing a ROM, try making sure SYSTEM is unmounted in 'mount/unmount partitions' menu in recovery.
..Thanks to jroid for finding the tip.

....Patiently waiting for an update to 4.2.2 JDQ39.

Repo sync is slow going right now but it's cooking. Once I get the code it'll be a compiling marathon tonight.
