I'm stuck at the kindle fire screen too. Wiped system then installed using twrp 2.0.

md5 is good. Gonna try installing twrp 2.1.1 for lack of any other ideasIt might have been a bad download. Did you check md5? Try redownloading it

I figured it out!!! Flash THIS (latest kernel) after installing the rom.
Screen will go black on reboot but will eventually show boot animation.
Trying this now.
The Kindle Fire boots. Then I get stuck on the MIUI unlock screen and it won't unlock at all. It's like my touchscreen doesn't work.
Use the KF Utility to unbrick the Bootloop brick
Use the Stuck at logo or Recovery Loop option to unbrick
Where is it man? Im using KF Utility 0.9.5

Using Kindle Fire utility press option 1, then the number corresponding to boot into recovery.

Instalation Instructions
- Place ROM zip file in your SD card
- Boot into recovery
- Create a backup
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Fatory reset device
- Install zip from SD card
- Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
- Reboot and enjoy!

I don't see any of the options you are talking about in the KFU. I selected option 1 and I tried the reboot to recovery option and normal as well, it didn't work. I don't see a 'stuck at logo' or 'recovery loop' option.
Can anyone be more specific as to how to fix this problem plz.
