It might have been a bad download. Did you check md5? Try redownloading it

I'm stuck at the kindle fire screen too....please help.

I can't even boot into recovery. I turn it on and I see the Android and KF logo. When I press the power button when the light dims it never goes into recovery...

I installed it just fine earlier. Wipe>factory reset, cache, dalvik, and system

Did you have a previous rom installed?

I have tried going back to stock 6.3 KF Amazon Rom
then KF Utility to install TWRP 2.0.0 & 2.1.1
Cleared both caches, system, installed rom, wiped again, and rebooted.
Stuck at kindle fire screen.

I did check MD5 and they do match correctly.

I figured it out!!! Flash THIS (latest kernel) after installing the rom.

Screen will go black on reboot but will eventually show boot animation.

Using Kindle Fire utility press option 1, then the number corresponding to boot into recovery.

I tried it and it got stuck. I rebooted the KF (like it says to do in the KFU thread if it gets stuck) and now KFU won't recognize the device. It keeps saying Ooops something went wrong.

Any way to get this thing working again?

Use the KF unbrick utility

I don't see any of the options you are talking about in the KFU. I selected option 1 and I tried the reboot to recovery option and normal as well, it didn't work. I don't see a 'stuck at logo' or 'recovery loop' option.

Can anyone be more specific as to how to fix this problem plz.

Another topic... and you called official in your mind :-? :))
P/s: anyway... tks for the OFFICIAL :D

Considering I ported it and am with the MIUI.us team, yeah I would call that official.

Next time try asking permissions and giving credit where credit is due.
