No not like this. you have copied the images. Copy "htc weather" folder.
Background image is fine. If it was a large image than there was a chance the system would make it small leading to low quality. Anything below 500x500 is fine and best is to use image size as background size. Or you can find a higher resolution image then resize it.
Anyways, this is awesome.
As soon as skin is imported it is available for modification. Use the middle selector in the first row to change individual elements. Watch video in Android market for tutorial.
Hmm using the market version and it using a lot of ram.28mb of it.Just 1 widget(ribbon theme with weather)
Also it would be nice to store a theme in its own folder.
Eg.All the png's,fonts,.uccw files in the theme's folder. It would make theme sharing a lot easier.Common elements like weather png's can remain where they are.Just a suggestion though
I can't get the widget to see any of the skins I downloaded. I put them in the folder /sdcard/ultimateclockskinwidget.
I don't know how to unzip. And how will it be useful?

skins are composed of images. To change color you will require to use photoshop. Better would be to have psd files of images.

No. .uccw files are used by app. They are not meant for the user.
