Maybe clear your browser cache, that is not what I, or others, are getting.

This has only been done for the main widget, but I'd like someone to try it before I do any more.

Make a backup of /system/app/AccuweatherPhone2013.apk

Copy the file below to /system/app overwriting the file above.

Reboot, you may need to add the widget back to the home screen (I did).

Please let me know if it works for you.

OK, I have had another look and this is completely transparent, no lines.
It works fine. & it's definitively apk nor zip file.

One thing that I missed in Accuweather widget from Note1 n7000 is Birthday Icon showed in widget and info taken from s-planner.
Any way to have it again?

Ive been trying to have this mod in my MEGA however when I try to place the widget it just comes out a black square where the widget should belong. I have the att version i527 and we just got ROOT so I wanted to try new things. What do you think is the problem?

You are using a deodexed Rom? You might need the odex file.

Unzip and copy to /system/app.

I don't know what else to do, if you delete the files and then re-flash the zip and it doesn't work.
Check the permissions.

Already tried...nothing.
But i thought this...now i am on stock deodexed mj2...if i flash yiur modified mj2 without any wipe it should overwrite your rom on mine adding accuweather...right?

So I can't do it...can you extract widget from that rom and make me a flashable zip? I don't know how to do or I would have done by myself

Just copy the file out of the zip file and copy to your phone, then delete the odex file. Make sure there is not one in /data/app

For those who dint find luck with the transparent widget..

    Download my 7z zip file.
    Extract the AccuweatherPhone2013.apk
Copy it to the System/App folder and replace the existing AccuweatherPhone2013.apk and delete the AccuweatherPhone2013.odex if present.
No Need to fix permissions, No need to reboot.

This is a Deodexed apk. 100% Transparent
Extracted and modded from stock BMJ2 Rom. :good:
