[Q] Can a Rogers dream housing be used to replace G1 Housing

I have a Tmobile G1 and i want to change the housing to a Rogers Dream housing. Is this possible? I want to order the housing as soon as possible.

Housings should be identical (except for branding, of course)... Havn't tried, but I'm fairly confident... Only difference is the radio chip on the board itself...

The T-Mobile G1 has circular buttons (end call, menu, etc.), whereas the Rogers Dream has rectangular buttons. All portions of the case will fit except for the lower fascia.

I stand corrected, he's right the fascia buttons are different...

Would it be possible to just replace the lower fascia buttons of the G1 with those of Rogers Dream?

Sure if you build something that connects the button to the housing.

Connects the same, replace housing, buttons and all and you'll be fine
