be sure to try to plug the TV first, then phone. and also you might have to swap the plugs to find the one that really has the video signal.

Awesome!

a) How did you do this? (Why is it necessary to flash?)
b) Now, do you think this could be done on other devices? (Such as the Samsung Galaxy S2?)

Thanks.

Bruteforce TV-out app - Update 1.1 beta

So i've been researching the efficiency of this application, and some experimenting and reading made possible to produce better framerate...

Change:
- Speed improvements, should give better FPS. This is the maximum framerate this approach can get to.

Download:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/fPLcd4gW/...rce-tv-v1.html

Download and flash. Use as detailed in the OP.

Hit the thanks button and or donate if you like this stuff.

wow, ive found out that busybox has a program called "nice" covered.
"nice" is a unix/posix command you might be familiar with that serves to raise or lower the Priority of a native process. (busybox is a very nice app that lets you get to the linux kind of commands that by default android is not shipping with)
This means that I will be able to try raising the priority of the tvout process. I hope it will help to make the framerate more fluent. It's quite fast now but occasional lags happen, this might help! Cant wait to get home to tv and try...
