Maybe old news from reading the thread, but flashed this on liquid rc2 and it booted to lock screen once, froze on unlock, then after battery pull froze on boot animation every time.

This kernel is no longer being developed. It has been succeeded by SOAP kernel. I'm sure the response you received in that thread holds true for this one as well though.

    It froze at boot every time I tried to flash it on the latest Paranoid Android. And no, I wasn't coming from the Basic Kernel.

    Right. All of the new builds are implementing the new Mali layout and is being addressed. New kernel will be going up soon

    My exact problem. Looks like it has to do with us running the basickernal
    It would appear so. Gonna re-flash the nightly and then try this again. I'll report back.

    After reflashing back to stock kernel and then reflashing this, it worked. So there's that.
