Sorry, it was me who started talking about battery life. I only complained because compared with other ROMS, this is the ROM with lower battery life.
The last rom I used was WOLF's, and I get like 2 days.
My question is, why this difference?? what the hell made this difference ?
I changed the kernel... but no difference.
I rarely turn on Wi-fi, never play games, the only thing I use is 3G to sync e-mail.
If some one with a good battery life, please tell me what's your secret?? :p

Cheers

I recently done some tests and have found out that if you haven't found the answer for your force closes it may be your battery. Batteries for the x10 are barely $1.60

Some times different roms and kernels have scripts to make them use more or less CPU power at different times.

battery life also has to do with how well your phone is dealing with ROM management (running apps that have not been closed when you're not using them and stuff)

Please don't worry about starting the argument on battery life.I'm cool with it

Good job ThJap. It's smoother than v12.

Battery life is good for me.

The only thing is I can't boot my phone after I flash Th Kernel v11-4 but DoomKernel does.

If you want to customize your homescreen use launcher pro or something similar. the standard Xperia launcher is not meant to have those options.

Yea, but with launche pro I dont get the same design/theme as this ROM :/ but it is possible to change rows in settings in this rom, also homescreens, so why wont it work? Apply settings and have to choose a recovery? What..

And my phone still reboots :/ not sure if it has somrthing to do about that my battery temp is 40C?

Often you find some weird options in custom roms that either don't work, are grayed out or will screw with your phone's stability when turned on. those fake options you saw in the xperia launcher are better left alone. Same with the Xloud option, just because you have it, it doesn't mean you should activate it (it'll damage your speaker).

To fix your reboot problem try these solutions :

- make sure you use the kernel that's bundled with the rom (check in phone info)
- go into xrecovery and clear your caches
- don't overclock the phone (stay under 1ghz for max value)
- remove any crazy looking widget and kill it process

Ah okay.. I just cleared cache and I think it worked.. But this rom is eating battery! Charged it to 70% for 40 minutes ago and now Im down on 40%!!

Edit:
The battery % is dropping as seconds :S now its 38%.. 1 min later

Im using kernel 2.1.71, and when i flashed with flashtool I excluded kernel from the list.. Was that a bad thing? I though i had to exclude since I had. 71 before..

Well that will really happen if you use your phone intensively, For example:
- Wifi turned on
- 100% brightness
- GPS working
- Mobile data is on
- You are playing with sounds on

these combo will really put your battery into danger. be careful!

yes, according to his post a couple of pages back, he has been checking.. he has locked bootloader so he doesn't need that.. i guess he has a couple of testers i think.

i'm looking really forward to his v13 rom and while it's not working, i'm currently at DonutICS. i really liked the style of ICS, but his rom, about the style, this is really the best. 100%. still waiting for the v13 bootmanager kernel to work!

Forget the previous answer, my phone is still rebooting :(

When I flashed with flashtool, I excluded the kernel from the file I loaded in Flashtool (this http://www.mediafire.com/?fpmabfbbua54qjo from the instructions on first page), was that wrong of me?

I have tried to clear caches.

I have tried to stay under 1GHz

The problem was there before installing any widgets :(

Please help.. it's very annoying!

Sorry if you already tried - maybe full wipe would help?
I had a lot of random reboots on previous versions, on V13 it is flawless. But I wiped it from Xrecovery, and just flashed newest rom, without touching anything. (no kernel games:eek:).
Please try that if you haven't already, I really believe this is the best Th rom! :D
