Im pretty sure... I took out the batter for about 2-3 mins in between tries... After about the 4th I took out my SIM, tried some more, but it just always seemed to boot up without going to DL mode... I have no idea what happened.

Dalon Orton
EDIT: I got my phone into DL mode using method 3, I'm about to flash the original ROM thingy from the Odin.

EDIT2: It is working, so far so good. I will edit again when it finishes.

EDIT3:Final: It worked!!! Thank god!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!!!!

I was able to flash my phone using this Odin, but it's now stuck on the AT&T screen in a bootloop. I did a battery pull, but after that, no matter what I do, I can't enter download mode at all. I can't enter recovery mode (because of the boot loop) so I'm unable to use adb, and no matter what I try to do, when I plug my phone to the computer, the battery-level screen shows up.

Help, anybody? Need some help ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Never mind, it worked. The AT&T logo kept flashing on and off, but I just left it on while searching for a solution and it just powered on. Made me jump too, since the volume was damn loud and it's 1:20 AM here.

What is this?:
If you see the "phone+!+computer" screen, you need this! If you deleted something you shouldn't have and can't get it back on your phone, this is probably your best bet. This is the Odin3 One-Click Downloader for restoring your phone from a completely software bricked state, or for whatever purpose you see fit to use it for. You don't have to change any settings, it is all pre-packaged and ready to go.

If this has helped you out, please consider buying me a beer!

How to use:
  1. Download and install the correct drivers below (mac and linux don't need drivers)
  2. Plug in your usb cable to your phone and computer
  3. Open Odin
  4. Enter Download Mode (see below)
  5. Click Start
  6. Be Patient, the first boot will take a while
How to use Master Clear:
  1. Boot your phone up normally with usb debugging on
  2. Click Master Clear

How to enter download mode:
Method 1ADB - from recovery or normally booted with usb debugging on)

The internal beta's are NOT one-click, please read the linked threads
UPDATE: I897UCJH2 (Internal BETA)
You can get it here

UPDATE: I897UCJH3 (Internal BETA)
You can get it here

DG I had to remove (I897UCJF6-final-OCD-REV0.rar) from thevod because it was using way to much bandwidth. Last month it accounted for 1 TB of bandwidth and this month it is on track to hit 1.4 TB for that one file. My host has not said anything to me about it but I would like to not piss them off.

I tracked down a Mediafire mirror of Odin from androidforums.com

http://www.mediafire.com/?0w2y31maz8mdom4

Gonna try it right now on my captivate, hopefully everything goes well. If all goes well, I'll re-host on multiupload.

edit: Yep, worked perfectly. Uploading to multiupload now.

That's potentially a lifesaver. I"m pulling it down now and will give it a shot too

edit: can't get my phone to register with odin, but I'm running odin in a virtual machine on my mac, so that could be a problem
