Is there any way I could make the bar at the bottom of the screen with the buttons apply the night mode filter too? On both N7 and N5.

Yeeeea. This would be nice to see. My slight OCD doesn't like they are not dimmed to the same level. haha

Bought the full app for my gf and myself the other day. It works great on her N4 and my GNex that I use as a media player.

Has anyone else noticed a problem after upgrading to kitkat? I'm on Nexus 4 stock+root, and after flashing the update lux seemed to stop working.
I'll try to uninstall and reinstall the app + N4 plugin and see what happens.

Hmm.. And I never associated the behavior with Lux! Good info!

The best thing to do is mess around yourself. I have a nexus 4 so my settings wouldn't work

@op
I have small problem with the latest Lux on my brother GNexus. When the root plug-in is activated the screen can't dim below 0%
Is his a common problem or is it just his nexus? He's running CM11

So, It's most likely something the developer needs to do.

Someone created an app that creates an 50% night filter, including the nav bar, so it is possible!

It really looks not as it should with night mode

I'm using Faux kernel on Nexus 4 with colour gamma profile set with Faux123 kernel enhancement.
This app is breaking Night mode adjusted by Lux autobrightness. Can be this fixed from Lux autobrightness side?

Looks like to me the developer really just needs to push an update for kitkat and a plug in for nexus 5. Hopefully it won't be much longer. Thanks Dev.
