Thanks a bunch! What's the best way to tell what the latest firmware for my ROM is?

When I check my firmware, it says I'm running 2.23.631.2 What does that mean? I know the latest official is 2.22? I'm confused.

2.23.631.2 is the latest for specific carrier ROGERS.
There is one with 2.25 : 2.25.599.1 is for Latin America

2.22 mostly unbranded ones.

So main point is the firmware 2.xx.xxx.x is the latest for each device version

Another ? on these firmware versions and carries.

I have a T-Mobile HTC One M8 which was carrier unlocked. My phone has an AT&T SIM. At least with my M7, I swore all GSM firmwares were the same, I don't recall different firmware versions for various GSM carriers. Should I look for TMOB or ATT updates? That said, what's the best method to figure out when and what firmware updates I should apply.

Thanks!
