Didnt't work on my stock HTC Tmobile G2 with Froyo 2.2.
I read that the user egzthunder1 achieved permanent Root on my phone's model, but is not a "One Click" method. Dont know if that method could be implemented to this project. It would be amazing!! Anywayz, Thanx!!

PS: this is the link to egzthunder1's method

Doesn't work on my Motorola Droid ): It reboots after a few seconds but when I check there's nothing to see of BusyBox and the root apps say it isn't rooted :3

Hi Ryan,

I have used your OCLF with Eclair and it was awesome. I just upgraded to Froyo (after removing root and OCLF) and I'm waiting to see if there is something similiar for Froyo. With z4root seems like you are very close to having another OCLF+Root app ready. Will you add z4root into OCLF any time soon?

BTW, a couple of my friends got a SGS with recovery mode locked. It seems that those 3 button fix are for european roms and might not work for asian roms? So what lagfix would you suggest for them? can they still use OCLF but use adb to get into recovery mode for reboot? Without the 3-button and without going into full blown rom flashing and such (they are not technical type), seems like they could be stuck with a laggy phone that can't be improved? They were hoping froyo would improve a bit but seems like the lag issue is still there.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the great work and I completely agree with your philosophy that having an app with one click lagfix process and being reversible is the way to go. Thanks for the great effort!

are you going to post something for the nand unlock? Or should I try out part 2 of this root process?

maybe my phone needs a nand unlock also? If so, how would I go about doing that?

EDIT: never mind. I ended up using SuperOneClick to root.
