Objective:
As extensively researched by the community, the use of black backgrounds in OLED (AMOLED and Super AMOLED) devices may lead to a gain up to 20% more battery juice. As related information, you can find some maths here and this xda experiment.

If, as is mine, your main device concern is lifetime and not the looks, give this a try and share your experience. Mine has been fantastic!

Requirements:
- Sammy Stock TouchWizard Rooted KitKat 4.4 ROM
- ClockworkMod Recovery (any)

- SHOstock-i v5.0b4 FNAD (me) + v5.0b5 FNB8 ( @wingg )
- Echoe v15 FNAD ( @demon-knight )
- Omega v22 FNAD ( @Ibrahim Hadi )

Install:
- Enter CWM recovery;
- Install AllBacksBlack.S4.4.20140404-2-Repack.zip 9,479 Kb
- Restart your device;

* Featuring tha'amazing extra shutdown icons by Master @Fischfuss


Uninstall:
- Enter CWM recovery;
- Wipe Cache and Dalvik
- Reflash your ROM zip (no need to wipe data);
- Restart your device;

Dude, took the below screenshot just to compare with yours. As you, I've installed the ROM and then ABB. You are riding Omega and I SHOstock-i ... there will be so much differences between stock ROM's? :confused:

Cheers my man for coming back to me, I thought it would be something to do with with the Echoe rom im as its heavily customized.

Great work on it though I like the dark look. :D

@Kdio This is the main thing I'm waiting for before making the leap to Kitkat but I'll wait for it to mature a little though. I really like what you've achieved with 4.3. I can't give it up easily :)

I might test Wanam's new rom out to see what new headaches it'll bring though.... AHHH! I can't decide!!!

You are right, this is still the version I've tried with no success before. Now I've got the hand of the recovery and vrtheme scripts. Just finalizing some others things and will start to port all our job from 4.3 to this one.
