I posted this on the other AOKP thread, but figured I'd post here for anyone wanting to try out the Tablet Mode that was merged in the most recent build.

I played with tablet mode for a bit, pretty cool, but wasn't able to change individual app DPI, which made it a bit cumbersome in some apps. To get tablet mode to work properly, under ROM Control and General UI(which is where the Force Tablet UI option is) you have to choose Tablet UI, then open LCD Density and follow the instructions. 240 DPI seemed to be the best setting, but it makes everything pretty small. Was fine for most things, but some apps were just too small. It also looks like you need to enable the nav bar to see your status bar, as it seems they are linked. Can't wait until they implement custom DPI's for each app, like Paranoid Android.

I normally stay quiet on forums (honestly to stay out of drama). I'm very active in irc though.

So are you like a new device for AOKP? Never heard of you in the previous AOKP thread.

You must not have followed the other thread very well...

Just want to confirm that flickering is 100% gone in today's build. Maybe you guys can take a look at auto brightness next lol

Lol. I know that's why I said that. I'm running your build. Best build I've seen yet.
Ohh. I was talking to the other guy about not following the other thread. We've all known about your builds for a while.

Where are you seeing the flicker at? i.e. What app or what functions are causing it? And lean kernel should work. I can't say from personal use as I've never used it.

Instructions for flashing recovery from adb or terminal

As there still isn't an official 4.2.1 release for the s3 series yet I will continue producing preview builds for those that would like them.

    They will be located here

Screenshot teaser for y'all... It seems stable as of right now. Cam isn't working. I haven't had a chance to test bluetooth yet either.

If you want to give it a shot look here AOKP_MR1

Keep in mind when you flash 4.2.1 it will move everything on your internal sdcard to sdcard/0/

Please if you flash a 4.2 build be cautious and make a backup. I had to remove and wipe my sdcard to get this to boot.

There are errors and I ask that at this point in time you do not report them

oh how nice that would be lol!
I know 4.2 is a major WIP but it will be nice to at least get it to boot im sick of all the N4 4.2 screenshots lol :p

Didn't boot but I'm not giving up:)
