Wow what? This is a nightly build. I want a stable milestone build. I didn't see one listed anywhere on XDA or RootzWiki. Seeing as I own a Fascinate and this would be first time looking for a Captivate ROM (for my fiance), I don't see how that's a terrible question.
If you look at the title this is the nightly thread. It is constantly updated and tweaked.
If you want stable well they all are pretty much stable and work very well. You will have to try them and see what you like. The latest nightly is completely stable for me.

I understand this is a nightly thread. I was unable to find a stable release anywhere and figured I'd ask here as this is the only CM9 thread that I found for the Captivate.
No wonder people keep telling me XDA is going downhill. Everyone here seems to get all butthurt when someone asks a question.

Yes more than a wow was deserved however the question was akin to a straight man walking into a gay bar asking if there are any straight woman around. There most like are some in the bar but there will still be people giggling at the question.
Seems more a straight man WITH AN ATTITUDE walking into a gay bar...
I get that there are a lot of stupid questions, and it's easy to get on edge and jump on every question that gets asked, but we need to really give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes. It's not like he came in *****ing about issues that are listed in the OP.
i flashed glitch kernel and am using nstools to get fast charge but it isnt working. anyone else getting this?
Don't hold your breath on audience support. TV out is supported but not for netflix/youtube or anything requiring hardware acceleration.
Or asking a question about a problem when running the glitch kernel.
Which brings me to:
Post about problems while using the glitch kernel on the glitch kernel thread. Or, flash back to the "stock" THS/CM kernel and see if you still have the same problem. If the same problem exists on the THS/CM kernel, then post about it here.
I am running a CM9 build from about a week ago. I am trying to pair with an older Moto H500 and it does not show up in the list of devices. I can see other devices around me but not the H500.
Anyone know what the problem is and please be easy on me for having such an old Bluetooth earpiece?
Thanks

Well I should have stated first, or it could have been asked instead of jumping to conclusions. I have tried alot of other ICS roms with the latest glitch kernel/nstools (MIUI, AOKP... etc) and have had no problems with fast charge except for this rom. I simply asked if anyone else was experiencing this. why would I go to the glitch thread where people will be using Glitch with tons of different roms instead of going to the rom thread where I have a better chance of someone else using the ROM/Kernel configuration?
Edit: And by the way the stock kernels dont support fast charge. Did you even read what I wrote in its entirety or did you just see "i flashed glitch kernel" and decided that I'm in the wrong thread?

pawitp,
I understand the importance of following the standard method used on other Cyanogenmod devices, but I am curious how this compares to devices with no external sdcard option (such as the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus)? Do these devices also have the internal sdcard mounted to /mnt/emmc and nothing mounted to /mnt/sdcard? While I realize that you made the change to follow a standard used by other devices, how does it make any sense to tell people that the internal card is mounted as "external multimedia card" (emmc)?
I think it makes much more sense for the entire CM team to revisit how sdcards (internal and external) are named and mounted to come up with something that makes more sense for every device rather than being arbitrarily based on a standard that was in place since the G1 and other devices that did not have an internal SD card. The Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus should be the references, especially in CM9, not old devices that will never even run CM9.
The download link in the first post is wrong. That link is for the international Galaxy S. Here is the link for the Captivate.
