It's not the base that is causing it. There were a lot of ROMS based on 2.3.6 . There were specific problems in the stock firmware that most custom ROMS removed. I quoted just one of the many great battery feedbacks on this rom. There are many things that contribute to bad battery, including widgets, kernel, apps, undervolting and overclocking , and tons of other things. Anyway like i said, we can take this to PM that way we don't clutter the thread. Good luck gentleman
Yes, it is. It's AT&T's iteration of 2.3.6 that has this firmware bug: not something that can be "removed." I replied because it's relevant to others understanding a possible limitation of this ROM. Other countries and carriers have their own iterations of the Android version 2.3.6., but AT&T's is broken (for some, that is). It occurred for people on this ROM as well as Sho's original ShoStock which was on the same base (AT&T's iteration of Android 2.3.6 - KK6). This was discussed when people first started reporting the problem.
However, if this person didn't have Wifi on, then yes, it could be caused by many other things. The Wifi firmware (AT&T KK6) bug is well confirmed though.
