Ghost Call dosen't occur in SU760 kernel.

Sent from my LG-SU760 using XDA

Hello iBluemind
Just to inform you, I have the P920 (21D) and this kernel (1.0.9) works perfectly and you're right, I think, that I have no called Ghosts.
So it seems that the whole problem is in the kernel of LG.

thanks

Thanks for Kernel

I have P920 Optimus 3D Italian and i have installed this fantastic kernel. Work perfect with all, wifi bluetouth 3g and this is the first kernel with no ghost call problem for many day.

This kernel is stable, speed and the phone part of the smartphone work great. Work all with more efficency.

The only problem is the button for P920 are four and the search button are lost but if i can solve the great problem of the gost call i can also scretch my button :)

THANKS THANKS THANKS.

Today i put my working SIM on O3D after 5 months of exile for my P920 after the first ghost call. In the past three days i have called my P920 every 15 minutes for test ghost call and with this kernel i have received all call 100% :) Perfect.

Ok On your P920 work but what is the procedure of installation that you have used ? You have installed the firmware, after the kernel and after you have erased all data and wipe ?

On my P920 i have installed V21D used for more time and after i have installed the kernel without do any clear data or wipe. I confim no ghost call.

Thanks for reply.

If you use P920...

If you use P920, then you may solve button problem to edit this file:

/system/usr/keylayout/omap-keypad.kl

:)

When I use CM7 on SU760, I edit this file :)

Ok i can edit omap-keypad.kl but how ? I have this file with firmware for P920, i can compare it if you post Korean file. Please post korean release. can you tell me what are the number of keys that affect the four front buttons?

Thanks

Ok Thanks. I do not know how I can remap the keys, whether an application or procedure exists ?!?

However I can confirm that even today no ghost called the only problem with Italian P920 are:

1) Back Button
2) putting the phone in airplane mode when I return to operating mode the phone is restarted.
3) Hotspot does not work.

On my P920 I don't have any calls ghost ! THIS IS GREAT

Thanks

Hi ibluemind, would u know what‘s causing the glitch on wifi tethering?your kernel works fine even on p920 rom except for tethering.i tried replacing wifi lib files but still getting the same error - enabling tethering causes reboot.

    [KERNEL][P920&SU760][2.6.35.14]BlueKernel v1.2.0 FAST | MORE BATTERY | MANY FEATURES

    Hi, I'm developing custom kernel for Optimus 3D :) This kernel is that kernel. BlueKernel focus on better performance and more battery. This kernel keeps up-to-date. So, check the version of this kernel!

    Changelog in v1.2.0 :

    * Changed compile option (-O2 -> -O3)
    * Changed available frequencies of CORE
    * Applied correct SmartReflex value of MPU
    * Improved boot speed tweak
    * sched_mc_power_savings : 2
    * Set scaling_max_frequency : 1008MHz at boot
    ( You can change max frequency on application such as SetCPU)
    * Reduced voltage at 100MHz of MPU
    * Dimmed screen brightness during boot
    * Improved CPU governor Hotplug

    Changelog in v1.1.9 :

    * Solved sound problem (Rebooted phone problem when calling)
    * Use updated compiler (Linaro GCC 12.06)
    * Compile option changed (-O3 -> -O2)
    * Ported Ezekiel 's FSync Control & Sound Control :

    Sound Control - Set volume boost and toggle high performance audio mode.

    /sys/class/misc/soundcontrol/volume_boost
    volume boost value from 0 to 3 (default 0 = no volume boost)

    /sys/class/misc/soundcontrol/highperf_enabled
    high performance audio mode, enable = 1, disable = 0 (default disabled, might increased battery drain during music playback)

    FSync Control - Enable/disable single file/filesystem sync.

    /sys/class/misc/fsynccontrol/fsync_enabled
    enable = 1, disable = 0 (default enabled)

    Disabling single file/filesystem sync increases the risk of a data loss on a crash/freeze and potentially can lead to other side-effects.

    Changelog in v1.1.8 :

    * Add 'PegasusQ' CPU governor (CPU governor of Galaxy S3)
    * Revert RAM overclock
    * Update sound driver
    * sleep_while_idle : 1
    * Add 1.3GHz CPU clock step
    * Stabilize mpu voltages

    Changelog in v1.1.7 :

    * Apply RAM overclock (Max. 450MHz)
    * Stabilze applying changed voltage
    * Checking boot speed tweak
    * sched_mc_power_savings : 1

    Changelog in v1.1.6 :

    * Version for P920 is added again :)
    * More optimized compile options are added. (For ARM Cortex-A9, ARMV7-a)
    * Compiled VFP with Neon.
    * LOAD_FREQ are modified for OMAP kernel and more speed.
    * Stock GPU clock. (GPU overclock occur slow performance)
    * Added Fugeswap in Lowmemorykiller.
    * Added PREEMPT_COUNT_CPU.

    Changelog in v1.1.2 ~ v1.1.5 :

    * Updated Linux version to 2.6.35.14
    * Enable KSM (More freeRAM)
    * sched_mc_power_savings : 2 (More Battery)
    * Tweaked internet speed(WiFi, 3G)
    * Update Simple I/O Schduler (v0.2)
    * Improve lowmemorykiller parameter
    * Increase Wifi scan interval (More Battery)
    * Update Compiler (Linaro GCC 2012.05 - Optimized for OMAP4430)
    * New Optimized compile option (-O3)
    * New kernel boot logo
    * Add new CPU governor : wheatly

    Features :

    * Based on SU760 V20e source
    * New CPU governors and I/O schedulers are added. (smartassV2, lazy, wheatley / sio, vr, bfq)
    * Kernel version is updated to 2.6.35.14 from 2.6.35.7 (But, displayed 2.6.35.7+. Because for using stock WiFi driver module.)
    * Compiled with latest compiler(Linaro GCC 12.05) and optimized compile options.
    * Set kernel for improving performance. (Using ext4 file system, 256Hz Tweak, readahead value increase to 1024... etc..)
    * User scripts in /system/etc/init.d are run during boot. (Name of scripts file must start with alphbat capital 'S' and 2 digits.)
    * Added many kernel tweaks like ARM optimization, common Linux tweak. (Backported Sched AutoGroup, disabled fsync... etc..)
    * Added TUN/CIFS and improved RAM managemant ability.
    * Removed useless kernel options and improve kernel functions. (Improve USB transfer speed, Fix upper X bound touch detection... etc..)

    Git of BlueKernel is https://github.com/iBluemind/BlueKernel (This source is version 1.0.2)
    Please report error or bug with log.

    This kernel support ALL Gingerbread firmware! (Not supported CM7 yet)
