It's untested, so if you want to use it, make sure you know how to revert back to a working recovery in case things go wrong

@josteink in the zip file in the updater-script, the following line
Code:
package_extract_dir("twrp.blob", "/tmp/twrp.blob");
should actually read
Code:
package_extract_file("twrp.blob", "/tmp/twrp.blob");
Then it should work....

USB mount
Great job! Made the syntax corrections to the zip, flashed it in recovery, worked like a charm! Excellent work! Running a nand backup of everything(including data) as i type. Have 1 question. Any plans for adding mount USB storage to mount selections?

Once again thanks for your efforts and excellent work!!!

Ok I just tried using this recovery and noticed that aroma installers doesn't work. I don't know if its just me or anyone else but has it been noted as a bug ??

Nand results
Just did a full Nand backup including data with 2.5beta, then did a full wipe, then restored the Nand backup with no issues. Booted back up, running eos4-117 with KK-103 buttery smooooooooooooth!

Thanks man!

For now you'll have to do that manually via the terminal. But it's one of the things I have been considering. We 'll see

I don't usually post things like this in Dev threads, but I have to say this.

If this pans out to be an "Official" release and adopted by the Team, you should feel a deep sense of satisfaction with your efforts to get this done. I have been following your travels in Vividboarder's thread for quite a while now and it all has come to fruition with this thread.

You are turning into quite a developer. Very nice job indeed.

Thanks man!

Installed via zip version and did the same thing as above, seems to work great!

I fooled around with the file manager and it took a while to figure out how to navigate to the external SD (now "SDC", for some reason I think it was different in 2.3.whatever), but now that I am aware, it won't be a problem again.

Thanks!

@josteink

Thanks for the updated recovery!

Did an ADB push/pull of a ROM (~100MB) seemed pretty fast both ways, no problems.

Queued up 4 files for flash; ROM, Gapps, Superuser and Cerberus, all went good, (ie, correct order)

Notes:

1. Is there a need for screen unlock; there doesn't seem to be any touch event on screen off.

2. For storage we got 'Internal' and 'sdc' - might be better if change 'sdc' > 'External'

3. When booting to recovery, just before the logo comes up I can hear and feel a loud click (sounds like a relay switch), is this normal I don't remember this.

Anyway, thanks again for your work really appreciate it
