Any chance of a mod to remove am/pm from 4.1? Another to center the clock would be amazing as well..

I'm still stuck with the older Visual Voicemail app too. Every time i try to update it says the package can't be parsed. I tried moving it from system to data, and also tried wiping the application data plus reboot and nothing gives. Does anyone know what's up with that?

There was a post I think it was this one [ http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1780975&highlight=vtt-sprint+apk ] I downloaded and installed this over the problem one and was able to update/use the app. [ should say I just copied it to phone SD card and launched the app and let it replace the other apk during the install]

Would it detrimental to 1.5 if i flashed the framework-res.apk from 1.3 to get horizontal app switcher?

Center clock for 4.1 would be awesome

. Quick question. If I flash Calkulin's undervolt script through Rogue Recovery on 4.1 using the stock Rogue kernel, does the undervolt actually work? I read somewhere that undervolt only works on custom kernels like gunslinger. Thanks!

Sprint Hot Spot

So I tried Blazer v0.1.3 and couldn't get the Sprint Hot Spot to work. Kept getting an error message on the phone and then a message saying something about access.

Just updated to v0.1.5 and really like having the Hot Spot launcher in the Notification drop down, but when trying to use it the laptop connects to the phone, but never gets internet. It doesn't appear to be a security issue. I tried in WPA2 and in WPA with no change. Did not try Open.

On another phone with another rom, the laptop connects through Hot Spot and gets internet, so it's not a computer issue. I thought I saw a mention of Hot Spot being fixed in v0.1.5, but it doesn't appear so.

Any way to fix this, or do we have to wait for PH to fix it?

It's systemui. Which should work but you won't have or be able to install extended toggles. It's too integrated. Plus you have to flash framework also anyway for the fix that I did for the display issue it was having.

I'm still trying to get it working with 1.5 but haven't had any success yet.

Go back to stock or temporary stock EL29 (search it's here), get a lock and then update whatever ROM you want.
Try GPS Status from the market - free. Or GPS Doctor from the market not free but a fantastic app for fixing gps if its a software issue.
Do some searching and you will find your answers.

I think I figured out my main issue. I was getting a GPS lock for location but Google Maps could not figure out which direction I was traveling in. It was constantly confused as to my heading. I believe that my hardware compass was going a little haywire. I searched and found a procedure to "reset it" by making figure 8s. Seems better today but I haven't had a chance to test it with Google Maps, yet.

please get a faster host for the rom... im taking an hour to download a 254MB rom... i downloaded 3 movies and i still had plenty of bandwith left while i waited for your rom to download.

Hi everyone, just finished flashing this rom. 2 questions. 1. Why does my SMS keep on freezing when I press the back button. It freezes the whole phone for a while. 2. Is there a way to get S-Voice on this rom? ( the Android version of siri).

Im on FF18 version and my contacts app and phone app force closes and or won't open from time to time. Is there a fix to this or is this an isolated incident.

Glad to hear that you got it. Always great when people follow up so other can learn. One thing that helped me on another GB device was the paid app GPS Doctor. Small price to pay to actually be able to use the GPS nav and maps.

Not sure why your SMS is freezing. Did you do a full wipe? What kernel are you on? Are you running any other tweaks?
As for S Voice you could go to the S Voice post and download it, push it to your apps directory and see if it works for you.
There are some explicit instruction on using it on this device. Like how to 'wake it up' etc. so read through those posts; all of them.
I played with it a while back on a few other (ICS) ROMs and even stock rooted FF18 and didn't care for it. But that's just me. Like Siri I find it pretty useless; I can manage to do the tasks required way faster that constantly 're-saying' what I mean.
I haven't even bothered trying it on this ROM. Might try it again this weekend but who knows.

im surfin or otherwise on it lol but on gb id be well over 3 hrs already

im using agats 4.2 kernel
