Incidentally, though I had problems with Smooth ICS/JB, many people seem to be having good luck with it. But, more importantly, I am getting some support/help with my issue on Smooth JB... take a look at that thread and see if things work out... or post your problems as well. The dev is quite helpful so far. I guess the biggest issue is that Adobe Flash causes problems on ICS/JB... so we'll see where that takes us. In the meantime, I'm on Beasty. The only issue I still have is the screen won't always turn off easily... the "blinkies" they call it, I guess. Manageable, but annoying. ICS/JB was nice in that it didn't do this! I am looking forward to getting back to them.

do you mean that when you do not sleep and awakens random reboots?
it also has the original when you put things out of the market.
ics and more are a bit difficult to control, install and restore.
I have the cyanogen 2.3.3 has some problems but that's okay, just do not work gps integrated, too bad because I like-

By "blinkies" I mean the screen will often wake up, and even stay on. Pressing the power button will then cause it to turn off, then on, then off again after a few seconds. It's a bit confusing, but if you're patient, it's not a big deal. Also, mine seems to turn on when I plug it into the charger... most of the time. In ics/jb, none of this happens.

I also don't get random reboots or anything like that. The ROM is stable for me. Wifi sometimes has issues, but I'm not sure if that's my router or what. I think the wifi-fixer app resolves those issues anyway, at least when I am using it. My non-technical wife seems happy with it, so it can't be too bad.

To answer the question about vegan tab, I had issues with ginger edition, but maybe I was doing something wrong back in my earlier romming efforts. I did use the non-ginger edition, and it was pretty decent. I feel Beasty is faster, and feels more stable for me. Again, this is feel, not objective evidence...

Yes, I noticed wakes up alone, has a few problems here and there .. The big plus is the reverse axes in games and maybe even a few little program will bother. On a tegra two is a sin.
It is very strange because even the original ROM and Froio but these problems do not have them, but it also gave other worst play .. shutdowns, market, practically unusable, type playbook blackbarry .. really a total lack for lovers of Android.
Right now with this rom is a rebirth.

Perhaps those who developed could fix, but already so thank you very very much. It also works gps .. Some lag I do not care.

I repeat only use some play could fix the axes
I have already tried with a change made by the same rom, but destroys almost everything even if the games work .. But then it goes all the rest and come on in rom restart interlock .. a casino, otherwise the change would make everything perfect or nearly so.

in addition to the problem of external sd etc.. but then again that's fine ..

Doing the math and project cyano7 with the stability of this .. Beat any tablet.

The Mouse Fix is for a USB Mouse. I am sorry, but the english translator you use is not good. Your Writing is hard to understand.

thank you, but I had already tried the fix mentioned, moral of the story I had to reflash the rom because all the destroyed and I could not more to fix it.
Basically, the fix works perfectly in games but I do not work anymore everything else, even the browser does not work anymore.

Back to life !

I am fully aware that this ROM is out dated and perhaps no longer supported. However, I must say this is the only ROM that brought my G-tablet back to life. Although there is no hope to get an answer but I will still appreciate if someone guides me in correct direction.
My understanding is, the Device itself is very old. I think this kernel suits the device best. Currently this ROM contains android version 2.2 (Froyo). I have access to "adb shell" but I do not think I am root. because, the command pm uninstall -k "package" is failing to get rid off some software came default with this ROM.
The goal is to have only and only browser running on the device. I need nothing else. But. the default browser is unable to fetch any page. So here are my stupid questions.

1). Is it possible to get working google chrome or any other browser on this device?
2). Is it possible to watch youtube on this device?

If the answer to above questions are NO. then is this tablet merely a paperweight?
There must be something out there that can use the decent hardware this puppy has. Please give me some update.

Youtube probably not. Firefox 31 may work though.

Do you happen to have the partition table info? You can grab it from nvflash
