I would love to see a Sense 3.5 or Sense 4 based ROM! There were attempts of porting a Sense 3.5 based ROM but there were so many bugs that I thought otherwise!

You answered the question yourself you see sense 3.5 has so many bugs that it is almost unusable. Dont even think of sense 4 for wildfire. Even sense 2.1 is not perfect (koolsense i think )

I have tried it but it has a high battery drainage. Like we now have 2 Mokee OS roms so whats the problem with another one.

I think koolsense is already good, because i dont use gps and Bluetooth. But it would be really awesome if it gets a little bit smoother with some tweaks and adding some Sense widgets.
So i would only request such a Sense 2.1 Rom (i know it is really difficult)

Odp: ROM Request Thread

If JB works with wildfire then sense 2.1 should too imo. There is no dev who would make it unfortunately );

Do you really want a gingerbread rom when we already have jb for wildfire. I have no problem porting, just asking.

Why not with a nice theme GB is still a nice OS....ah and it's the fastest OS for the Willy

BTW I looked into the ROM and it's not possible to port it cause the files are very different from them which were used in a normal .zip

Tapped from my beast the Nexus 4

You are right because it says stock replacement rom and sony's unofficial firmware update so it may not be possible.

Hi guys i am making a rom request thread for wildfire. I searched for this type of thread but it was not present for our wildfire buzz so i am making one. The purpose of this thread is allow users have their favourite rom on our small but powerful beast.
So feel free to request a rom.

    Keep In Mind That

    - Gingerbread/CM7 based Roms will be fully stable
    - Ice cream sandwich/CM9 based roms will have some issues (NO youtube HQ video, No native video recording, No panorama camera)
    - Jellybean/CM10 based roms can now be ported. They will have no native camera and camcorder and other minor bugs. Dont complain if they are laggy.
    - Dont ask for roms already present for wildfire
    - For best compatiblity look for a rom designed for a phone with below specs
    - QVGA (240 x 320) resolution
    - Arm v6
    - LDPI ( Low pixel density)
    - Roms from high end phones can also be ported to wildfire but they need alot of resizing and fixing so expect bugs.

List of phones that are best to port roms to wildfire

    - samsung galaxy mini
    - samsung galaxy fit
    - lg optimus me
    - htc tatoo
    - sony ericsson xperia x10 mini
    - sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro (not sure about this because it has a hardware qwerty keyboard)

    Searching for more phones

    Thanks, now lets get started

Help me understand, when you port a rom, what is taken from base rom and what is from rom that you port??

I guess that you can port GB to GB and ICS to ICS or ??

What rom which you port should have, to be ported? Same CPU chip? GPU matter/no? I understand display resolution should be same coz of resizing...

Because i just watched all roms mentioned above and realized i dont know **** :D

If someone can provide some explaining links, that would be great too ;)

when porting, cpu and Display resolution matters.Gpu doesn't matter.
everything except app, media, fonts and framework folders are taken from base rom.Along with these some libs and some files from permission folder of the port rom is taken.

    here's a nice guide.
