Friends,
I have installed custom CWM6 based touch carliv recovery in my phone. it works fine. but I can access this recovery only through "boot to recovery" commands from apps like ROM Manager. when I press Power button + Volume- button, it enters in some kind of test mode. how to access this recovery if my phone is not booting? what is the key combination?
please help me brothers. thanks in advance...

What you did gets you into diagnostic mode.
Apparently there is no key combination to do this.
Please read Posts 43 and 44.

Many people use 'Quickboot' - free on Google Play
This, too only works if your phone boots. You may also want to check post #3 here
