@ahk31 i did a back-up for all partitions mentioned by you, when i tried to restore it returned failed and stopped at data restore.
I don't know what else to do, @surdu_petru i have attached a recovery log for restoring data partition, maybe if you have time you can look in to it. I see something about failed to set permision -1 IO....but i'm no expert :(

If i do a restore without data partition it is all ok, but have to manually redo all the data in the rom which is still a pain... :(

Thank you.

I remember I had the same problem but with custom partition !

Solved by installing stock recovery, than flash stock Huawei Firmware ( for re-write & fix all partitions ) !

Install now TWRP & all should function normally . Good luck :good:

I thought of that and reflashed stock recovery and then kk beta and then again twrp but still the same. Do you think I should try dload method with b506 and give it another go?

It seems fine to me.
Just make sure you don't unplug your device after you "adb reboot bootloader"

And wait for a bit until you enter "fastboot flash recovery twrp_2_6_3_7_recovery.img"

If that still doesn't work, you might need to install the google adb drivers here:
developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html

After installing the drivers, then retry. If it still doesn't work, then tell us.

Hi there, same problem here! Stuck at logo with "waiting for device".

How should I install the drivers provided, there is no *.exe. What driver should I update with it in device manager?
Thanks!

LE: Solved the problem by my own. It was driver related as suggested but the android drivers you pointed only work for x86 Windows. Had to use "AdbDriverInstaller" and reboot PC to get proper drivers that worked! Thanks for the tips and my fellow romanian surdu_petru for the hard work on the TWRP!

Hello.
I have the following problem. I installed 2.6.3.7. over KK stock china version. All is ok except the root. My phone doesn't get root acces.
I followed all the steps, no luck. I tried too install SUPERSU from Gplay, no luck either.
What should I do next? I need root because I try to install xposed.

If you still can not find, please take a look here !

Good luck ...
Thank you for your advice. Once again congratiolation for your work.
I put these question because when i preveusly installed B506 STOCK and afterwards TWRP 2.6.3.7 before reboot i was asked if i want to root my devices and it worked with no problem.
After this i installed the ART fix. Because it was bugee i installed a fresh stock B506 and then instaled TWRP. This time root did not worked anymore. This is my bewilderment.
I read about your B506 root rom but i am tired to factory reset again and install all from scratch.
Thank you again and i'm hopping that you don't leave us in in the near future.

I would first suggest that you use the unlock code for bootloader and try to flash anything.

We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash.
The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able.
You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Put the recovery on my int sd, followed the instructions...

    Error: cannot open recovery_twrp.img

    :/

Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app

You are supposed to flash recovery via command prompt, not via SD card.
What you are supposed to do is to get the adb tools.

    Follow these instructions:
    1. Download the fastboot.zip from here: http://goo.gl/T4Z1Kp --> press ctrl+s on the page to download the rar. (Now you can view and download the file without permissions! Sorry, forgot to enable settings to share)
    2. Extract the folder from the zip.
    3. Open the folder, shift+right click, click on "open command prompt here".
    4. Turn on your phone, make sure usb debugging is enabled.
    5. Type "adb reboot bootloader".
    6. Then type "fastboot flash recovery twrp_2_6_3_7_recovery.img" without quotations. NOTE: If you want to install the old TWRP then type "fastboot flash recovery_twrp_4.4.img"
    7. Finally, type "fastboot reboot".
    8. You are done! Make sure to go into recovery mode to check out the new TWRP.

You want to revert to Kitkat stock recovery?
    1. Open the folder, shift+right click, click on "open command prompt here".
    2. fastboot flash boot boot.img
    3. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    4. fastboot reboot !
